II. MY RIDING/TRAINING/COMPETING of YOUNG EVENT HORSES All YEH Professional Horse Trainer candidates must complete Section II for the required Bronze YEH Professional Horse Trainer level. A candidate for Bronze is required to have trained or be training 6 YEHs. A candidate for Bronze is NOT required to have competed any self-trained YEHs at Preliminary and/or 1* but not higher or at Intermediate and/or 2*. However, if your Section II list includes 6 YEHs whom you have both trained and competed through Preliminary and/or 1* but not higher OR 6 YEHs you have trained/competed through Intermediate and/or 2*, the word Silver or Gold, respectively, would be printed on your YEH Professional Horse Trainer certificate in addition to the word Bronze. If your list shows a combination of such horses (competed at both levels, say, 4 through Preliminary and 2 through Intermediate), your certificate would read Bronze and Silver. A candidate receives his/her YEH Professional Horse Trainer certificate after successfully completing an ICP Assessment. Below are 6 Young Event Horses whom you have or are currently training, horse owner names included. For each horse, indicate the highest event level at which you have competed each horse, if you have done so. If you have trained a YEH(s) and also completed competition(s) with that horse(s) at Prelim and/or 1* but not higher and/or Int. and/or 2*, list that horse or those horses first. For your 6 listed YEHs, include results from any kind of competing additional to eventing, with highest event competition level listed first. Two (2) of these YEH horse owners must send a written description of your skills as a YEH professional horse trainer to Nancy Knight at USEA, 525 Old Waterford Rd. NW, Leesburg, VA 20176 or to Nancy at nancy@useventing.com. If you have not trained a YEH owned by anyone other than yourself, in your Section V Short Essay you must identify and discuss your YEH training skills in addition to the other content requested in that essay.

For Gold, complete III B if you have trained at least 6 YEHs on whom you have also competed up the levels through Intermediate and/or 2*; these horses should be the same 6 horses you have already listed above in Section II, in that same order. List in III B all such abovelisted competed YEHs, even if fewer than 6. Send records for all event levels competed with each horse, whether you or someone else competed that horse at some level. If your Section II list includes a combination of competed and not competed horses, complete III A and/or III B below identifying your competition history with your Section II YEHs whom you have also competed through Preliminary and/or 1* but not higher and/or through Intermediate and/or 2*. IV. HORSEMANSHIP A. I have been responsible for the feeding, care, and conditioning of the following 3 horses of my own and/or others when in normal use and/or in preparation for, during, and in aftermath of competition. Horses names and most demanding riding use are provided below. Include at least one YEH.
