Welcome to the RM! The last two years have presented a real challenge to those of us who ranch in this part of Texas. Record drought gripped the area and we are lucky to have Texas Longhorns as no other breed could have weathered those tough times with as little supplemental feeding as they required. These cattle truly are a gift from nature and we enjoy our cattle as much as we did when we started in 1978. As this is being written all of Texas is wet and anticipating a wonderful spring. We look forward to having you join us for another great sale. After last year s sale we received a request from several breeders who have been strong supporters of this sale and who are dear friends of ours. They asked if they could host a special event independent of the sale at the ranch the Thursday before the sale with a viewing of our cattle and a wine tasting and catered meal. Like all breeders of these fine cattle, we know and appreciate how many lasting friendships have been made among breeders and we always look forward to gatherings of our fellow breeders where we can spend time to renew friendships and enjoy being together.
