Yu shuld read this packet and becme familiar with the eligibility requirements, the expectatins, and respnsibilities f a Muntain Brk High Schl cheerleader. This packet cntains the necessary frms fr evaluatins, evaluatin infrmatin, and the Cheerleading Cntract. Cheerleaders and their parents must pay fr unifrms, equipment, summer camp and ther necessary items. We will prvide cst estimates fr the upcming year. MBHS Cheerleading Evaluatin Infrmatin Evaluatins will be cnducted n Thursday, March 15 th - Friday, March 16 th and Mnday, March 19 th thrugh Thursday, March 22 nd frm 3:30-5:30 in the schl gym. Friday, March 16 th : Friday is a regular evaluatin day. Friday afternn, there will be a vide that cntains the evaluatin material psted n the cheer webpage. Each candidate must view this vide and start learning the material. We expect yu t knw the material when yu walk int evaluatins n Mnday, March 19 th. The material is taught by an utside vendr. Attendance n each day f evaluatins is mandatry. Fee f $35 is due with the applicatin n March 9 th. Applicatin shuld be sent t Cach Nt/Brwn. Fee needs t be paid nline. MOUNTAIN BROOK HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADER AGREEMENT AND RELEASE FORM We agree that will participate in the evaluatin and selectin prcess. We agree t accept the system fr the selectin prcess and the results f the evaluatins. We understand and agree t abide by the rules and regulatins fr cheerleaders set frth by the caches and thse that are established in the Muntain Brk High Schl Cheerleader Cntract. We understand that all decisins are up t the discretin f the cach. We understand these cnditins and agree t abide by these rules and regulatins if selected as a Muntain Brk High Schl Cheerleader fr the 2018-2019 academic year. We als understand that failure t cmply with these rules and regulatins may result in dismissal frm the grup. MBHS Cheerleading Evaluatin Grievance Plicy The fllwing is the Muntain Brk High Schl Cheerleading prgram s plicy fr handling any grievances related t evaluatins. Shuld a grievance arise due t the evaluatin results, a request fr a meeting must be sent via e-mail t the caching staff. The caching staff will then crdinate all parties t establish a meeting time. A meeting will nt take place unless all parties are present. The necessary parties include: the caching staff, a parent, the candidate, and an administratr. During the meeting, nly the evaluatins f the candidate will be discussed. Any infrmatin nt directly related t the candidate will nt be discussed during the meeting. In additin, n ther infrmatin will be discussed via telephne, text message, r e-mail. All discussins will take place in a face t face meeting, and when all the necessary parties present. A meeting t discuss evaluatins will nt take place until all the abve requirements are met. At the cnclusin f the meeting, any further questins r cncerns can be addressed thrugh requesting a meeting with Head Principal, Amanda Hd. The camp fee f apprximately $600 will be due at that time. Yu will be tld the exact amunt due prir t the meeting. Unifrm Swap will be Mnday, April 9 th at 2:30 pm in the cheer rm. Sphmres will cme directly after schl. This will be the nly day t swap unifrms. All unifrms have t be apprved by Cach Nt/Brwn and signed ff n the unifrm sheet. Unifrm Fitting will be n Tuesday, April 10 th at 2:30pm in the cheer rm. Sphmres will cme directly after schl. Mandatry fr every cheerleader. Ftball Jambree will be in May 10. Make-Up day is May 11 if needed. Pictures fr the All-Sprts Prgram and the yearbk are typically taken arund the last week f July r first week f August. Yu MUST be in twn that week. MBHS Cheerleading Bt Camp and Sign Painting-MANDATORY will be August 6 th -10 th frm 9-3 each day IMPORTANT NOTE: Missing any prtin f bt camp/sign painting will result in sitting ut ftball games at a minimum. Camp Infrmatin: Camp Dates are May 31 st -June 4 th MANDATORY UCA Camp is at Laketwn Warf in Panama City, Flrida.
