61 st ANNUAL MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF JUDGES Marrakech (Morocco), 14-18 October 2018 Dear Colleagues, TO ALL NATIONAL MEMBER-ASSOCIATIONS Rome, 24 th April, 2018 1 - In the name of the International Association of Judges and of the Amicale Hassania des Magistrats du Maroc, I take pleasure in inviting you to name your delegates to the meetings of the Central Council, of the four Study Commissions, as well as of the four Regional Groups of the IAJ to be held in Marrakech (Morocco), from 14 h to 18 th of October 2018. 2 - The meetings will take place at the meeting halls of Palais des Congrès du Ministère de Bab Ighli. The delegates are invited to book as a priority at MOVENPICK hotel (www.movenpick.com) or, as an alternative, at SAVOY le Grand Hotel (www.savoylegrandhotel.com). Daily shuttles from and to Hotels/ Palais des Congrès will be made available by the Moroccan association. Each national association must cover the accommodation expenses for its own delegates. The Moroccan Association will offer the simultaneous translation (English, French, Spanish), all the meeting rooms, a welcome party on Monday, October 14 th, as well as a dinner (farewell party) on Wednesday, October 17 th and an excursion to historical monuments of Marrakech on Thursday, October 16 h. 3 - The delegates are expected to arrive on Sunday, October 14 th, 2018 (save delegates to Regional Meetings, who are expected to arrive on Saturday, October 13 th, 2018) and are expected to leave on Friday, 19 th. From and to the airport, a transport company will welcome and transfer delegates at a convenient price, covered by delegates. 4 - Please find here enclosed a provisional programme. A special programme will be arranged for travelling companions. An additional fee of 200 euro will be charged on any accompanying person. 5 - A free excursion is foreseen to Terres d Amanar, on October 15 th. 6 - The organising association communicated the following costs for the accommodation.
