Unit LG09e - Fitness requirements for a Surf Lifesaver Demonstrate the fitness requirements needed to become a Surf Lifesaver 1.1 Demonstrate a 400m pool swim in a time no more than 9 minutes and 30 seconds. Observation of assessment criteria in a pool not less than 25 metres in length, using a front crawl stroke. (An ASA approved swim meet result or current qualified ASA swimming coach verified time, may be accepted.
