Fantastic Fille began very awkwardly and shifted in abruptly, raced greenly in the early stages, then hung out rounding the home turn. Syd Sprinter trainer Mr. P Bloomfield said that the filly would be transferred from his stable. Notwithstanding this advice, Mr. Bloomfield was informed that a warning for poor performance would be placed on the filly s racing record. She Just Said It slow to begin. Taking into account all the circumstances, including the contributory effect of the racing manners of
Kashtan and the proximity of this incident to the one that led to T Wolfgram being suspended in an earlier incident in this race, his license to ride in races was suspended for a period to commence 29/5/18 and expire 9/6/18, on which day he may resume. Race 7: Open Handicap 1600m Trainer Mr. M Mason was fined $200 (LR36A) for failing to withdraw Strictly Concert by the prescribed time. When assessing penalty, it was accepted that Mr. Mason attempted to withdraw the gelding on the stable assist program inside the requirements of the rule and the injury which caused the withdrawal.
