ision Hisory Mission & History The Cam Newton Foundation was started in 2012. The Foundation serves as Cam s charitable platform and supports strategic initiatives, programs and events in the Charlotte and Atlanta communities. CNF HIGHLIGHTS TO DATE, OVER $3.5 MILLION DOLLARS has been spent and distributed through programming, financial contributions and in-kind donations. OVER 10,500 STUDENT-ATHLETES & COACHES have been impacted by our Every 1 Plays" initiative which focuses on high school football development, character building and mentoring. The CNF has FED OR PROVIDED HELP FOR OVER 9,850 YOUTH & CHILDREN during the holiday seasons. New, Signature Program A PROGRAM INVITING EXCEPTIONAL YOUTH TO EMBRACE DIVERSITY & IGNITE SOCIAL CHANGE TOGETHER The Cam Newton Foundation (CNF) recognizes the values of starting young, equipping youth with tools for working as a team and embracing diversity. As we look to the future and the next generation of world-changers, teaching these skills has the power to transform and alleviate many of the societal problems we face today. N- TED S 1 THE CNF COMPLETED A PILOT PROGRAM OF UN1TED AS 1 IN JANUARY 2018. The pilot program consisted of a kickoff event (Nov. 2017) and 3-days of learning and activities (Jan. 2018). Sixty middle-school students from different backgrounds participated in the program. The program themes included: DAY 1 UN1QUELY ME, UN1QUELY YOU DAY 2 1NFLUENCERS & 1NFLUENCING DAY 3 ACT1NG AS 1 Un1ted As 1 Goals: + Working together, embracing diversity and solving problems + Understanding the power of influence and wielding it to impact social change + Navigating and discussing real issues in today s society and seeing these issues as opportunities for positive change Next: + The program will expand and grow in Charlotte, as well as the Southeast. + More details to come.
