Ideas: Course Competitions for Prizes Fun for the players: Closest to the Pin (All, men or women) Longest Drive (All, seniors, men or women) Straightest Drive (All, men or women) Hole in One (Insurance is the responsibility of the tournament organizer) Fundraising Opportunities Skee Ball Putting Contest: A great way to generate extra dollars. A skee ball target is painted around a hole on the putting green. When groups make the turn at the clubhouse they are asked by a volunteer to participate. Entry into the contest could be as low as $5 per person. With entry fee paid, each contestant gets 3 putts. The highest point winner will win half of the pot at the end of the day. (The winner often gives the winnings back to the charity). The other half goes directly to the cause. Beat the Pro: If you ask the pro to be available for a Beat the Pro contest, he would gladly participate! The pro will be assigned to a par 3 hole. Much like the putting skee ball contest, there is a small entry fee. Each golfer that gets the ball closer to the hole then the pro, will be thrown into a hat. At the end of the day during announcements one winner will be pulled from the hat to get half of the pot. The other half goes to the outing. The Pond Shot: Each player pays $5, and gets 3 chances at hitting the ball into a floating circle in the pond. The most shots within the circle splits the pot. Pro For Hire: The golf pro will be stationed at a certain tee box. The team may elect the Pro to hit their tee shot for them for an entry fee. Usually between $5 and $10. The money goes towards the charity, and the team benefits from being able to use the pro s tee shot. Mulligans : Mulligan's are do overs. You can sell mulligan's in different ways for example: 1 mulligan for $5, or 4 for $15. However, it is good to limit the amount you sell to no more than 4 per team to protect the pace of play of the outing. Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets are a guaranteed way to make extra money. Selling raffle tickets for a cash prize at the end of the day generates a lot of extra money. The person with the pulled ticket wins half the pot which they often give back. The rest goes to the outing. Contact the Golf Shop to make the most out of your next event. (610) 273-0207 bill@honeybrookgolf.com

Testimonials "As a first-time organizer of a large golf outing (140 players), I was very impressed with the staff and management team at Honeybrook Golf Club who helped me plan and manage the event every step of the way. The Honeybrook staff answered every question and anticipated every hiccup leading up to and during the outing. It was a fantastic day, and I've since held another, even more successful fundraiser there and look forward to many more in future." - Tim Horan, J&J United Way "June, 2017 will be our 17th annual outing at Honeybrook Golf Club. Throughout the years, the staff and management have been just terrific and a pleasure to deal with. What started as an outing of about 40 has grown to an annual event featuring between 100-110 players and volunteers. As we have grown, the club has grown with us. We now use all the outing services including the Greenside Grill's catering offerings. The course is always in great shape and the covered pavilion is a great area for the post round festivities. We have other clubs inquire about hosting the event, but with the success we have had, switching venues has never been an option. Looking forward to many more years at Honeybrook." Dave Campbell - Motson Chiang Memorial "We consider Honeybrook Golf Club and its staff part of our family. We held our first fundraiser there in 2003 to raise funds for a cure after our son was diagnosed with terminal Tay- Sachs Disease. Our son is no longer with us but we've hosted an outing every year since then and have raised over $150,000 for family services, education and research. We couldn't do it without HBGC's loyalty and partnership. Thank you Honeybrook and staff for your commitment to our cause!" - The Manning Family "Many thanks to Honey Brook Golf Club for providing an excellent experience each year at our annual golf outing. A great course with excellent facilities and a staff that is always very welcoming to the guests. We thoroughly enjoy having our golf event here for nearly 20 years." -Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, West Chester, PA
