Central. BEST BULLPEN RESIDES IN K.C.--The Royals bullpen completed the four-game series with Detroit, allowing just one run (in the eighth inning of Friday s 4-1 victory) on six hits in 12.0 innings of work as seven different relief pitchers worked at least one inning over the weekend...kc s bullpen leads the Major Leagues in ERA (1.00), allowing just nine earned runs in 80.2 innings of work through 25 games, while the club is also tops in opponent batting average (.154) and allowed the second-fewest hits (42)... even with two-time All-Star closer Greg Holland out the past two weeks, the Royals haven t missed a beat as Wade Davis has converted all five of his save opportunities, while Davis (10.0 innings), Jason Frasor (9.0 innings), Holland (4.0 innings) and Yohan Pino (10.2 innings) have all yet to allow a run this season.
