The 6th Annual CAWG PAC Fundraiser & Golf Tournament Monday, July 17, 2017 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 7:30 AM Registration & Warm-Up 8:30 AM Shotgun Start 2:00 PM Wine, Networking & Golf Awards 5:30 PM Awards of Excellence Reception, Dinner and Program About the PAC Golf Tournament & Fundraiser This tournament offers one playing format - FOUR PERSON SCRAMBLE: Players tee off at each hole. The best tee shot is selected and all players will play their second shot from that spot. The best out of each second shot is determined, then all players hit once again from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. Each player must account for at least three drives. PAIRS & RENTALS: Please note on the registration form if you would like to be paired with any particular player(s) or if you need rentals. Rentals are $65 per set. In addition, please make sure you include your handicap. If you are a single player, we will pair you with a team. AWARDS, PRIZES AND MULLIGANS: Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams competing. We will also be raffling off various prizes. Each golfer will be given a raffle ticket in their goody bag and will have a chance to win! Golfers will be able to purchase a pack of 4 mulligans at the CAWG registration for $20/pack. Each year growers confront new and changing circumstances: weather, pests, labor availability and volatile markets. Growers overcome these challenges by working hard, and through continuous learning and adaptation. So how can growers adapt to California s ever shifting political climate? By joining us on Monday, July 17, and helping us take action by supporting the CAWG PAC. Century Club: The Century Club is an exclusive way to support the California Association of Winegrape Growers Political Action Committee. You become a member of the Century Club when you make an annual contribution of $1,000 or more to CAWG PAC. Your contribution lends winegrape growers a powerful and enduring voice in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. The generous contributions from growers like you to the Century Club support candidates who are willing to hear growers concerns and who want a brighter economic future for California. Contribution Limitations: Contributions to CAWG s State PAC are limited to $7,000 per calendar year per contributor. The limit includes both monetary contributions and donated items (at fair market value). Funds will be used to make political contributions to state candidates, and for other political purposes. Contributions shall be voluntary, non-tax deductible, and you have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. All funds are deposited to our State PAC Account, unless instructed otherwise.
