Camp of Champions 2017 Participant Information What to Bring: 1. Sleeping gear a. Pillow(s) b. sheets for bunk bed or blankets or sleeping bags 2. Swimsuit/Towel 3. Personal hygiene items a. Toothbrush & toothpaste b. Soap & wash cloths c. Deodorant, shampoo, comb/brush, etc 4. Rodeo attire (required) a. Hat b. Boots c. Long sleeve shirts 5. Rodeo equipment a. Bull Ropes, bareback rigging, bronc saddle b. Ropes, strings c. Safety equipment 6. Horse, if you are signed up for a timed event. a. Make sure you have reserved a stall if you are bringing your horse 7. Feed, and stall supplies for your horse a. Stall and bedding will cost $20 per night b. Only 1 horse per participant c. Stalls must be cleaned out before departing! 8. Bible, notebook and pen/pencil. 9. Extra money for concession stand and miscellaneous 10. A great attitude! Please mark all clothing & any personal items that you bring! Trailer Hookups & Overnight Campers: 1. There will NOT be RV or trailer hookups available on the campgrounds except for instructors. There are trailer/camper hookups available at the Sayre City Park. 2. Parents are more than welcome to eat all the meals at the camp. Rules: 1. No Pets of any kind are allowed on the premises. 2. No one is allowed to leave the grounds once they have checked in. (Emergencies excluded by the discretion of the administration.) 3. No alcoholic beverages or ANY tobacco products are allowed. 4. NO cell phones or other electronic equipment are allowed. (Radios, Boom Boxes, PSPs, ipods, etc ) 5. Campers are required to participate in ALL scheduled activities. (See Camp Schedule) 6. Showers and other personal hygiene must be completed prior to breakfast and/or before evening services. 7. Only campers, instructors, and COC Staff are permitted in and around the rodeo arenas. All visitors and spectators will be restricted to the stands (Insurance requirements) 8. All stock must be cared for by the campers prior to breakfast and dinner. 9. Parents are welcome and may purchase meal tickets. 10. NO video cameras or recording devices are allowed. Baptism: In previous years at the Camp of Champions, many young boys and girls have given their lives to Jesus. On the last day of each camp we have a baptism service for those desiring to be baptized as a result of their salvation. It is one of the highlights of the Camp for instructors, parents and campers. We would never undermine your authority as a parent, so we would need your permission to baptize your child, should he/she make a salvation decision. Registration personnel will ask you at time of check-in if baptism is OK. If you are bringing someone else s children they must also have parental permission.
