HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Emergency Overview: This material is irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Absorption through skin or inhalation of heated vapor and mist may result in central nervous system and adverse reproductive effects. Animal studies indicate high doses may cause adverse reproductive effects. HMIS Classification: Health: 2 Flammability: 1 Physical Hazard: 0 NFPA Rating: Health: 2 Flammability: 1 Reactivity: 0 4. FIRST AID MEASURES Eye Contact: Ingestion: Inhalation: Skin Contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. If swallowed, induce vomiting immediately by giving two glasses of water and sticking fingers down throat; never give anything to an unconscious person. Get medical attention. If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. If breathing is difficult give oxygen. Get medical attention. Vapors or mists from this material can irritate the nose, throat and lungs, and cause signs and sysmptoms of central nervous system depression, depending on the concentration and duration of exposure. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes, and launder before reuse. Flush with copious amounts of water. If irritation persists or signs of toxicity occur, seek medical attention. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Flammable Properties Flash Point F( C): Flash Point Method: Flammable Limits in Air - Lower (%): Flammable Limits in Air - Upper (%): Autoignition Temperature F( C): Extinguishing Media: Protection Of Fire-Fighters: Special Fire-Fighting Procedures: Hazardous Combustion Products: Aerosol Comments: 135 C. Wear approved positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Monoxide. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal Precautions: Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment to prevent skin and eye contact. Page 2 of 6

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Spill Procedures: Avoid all sources of ignition; heat, sparks and open flames. Contain any liquid from leaking containers. Wear protective equipment specified. Ventilate spill area. Soak up material with absorbent and place in chemical waste container. Action to be taken if material is released orif clean-up is not immediate, cover spill with plastic or canvas to keep dry. spilled: Environmental Precautions: Do not allow to enter sanitary drains, sewer or surface and subsurface waters. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling and Storage: Do Not Swallow. Store in a cool, dry place. Use only in a well ventilated area. Keep container closed when not in use to prevent contact with acidic, basic or oxidizing materials. Avoid open heating or agitation, this may generate vapors or mists. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Engineering Controls: Eyes: Skin Protection: Respiratory Protection: Exhaust ventilation. Eyewash stations. Showers. Chemical goggles; also wear a face shield if splashing hazard exists. Avoid skin contact. Wear protective clothing and gloves. Rubber, Neoprene or Vinyl. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking and when leaving work. An approved respirator (i.e. NIOSH, etc.) should be worn when exposures are expected to exceed the applicable limits.
