Why an Internship... The Internship program is a unique opportunity to join a program that can train you for a future in the Scuba Diving Industry. Dive Centres & Resorts around the world are looking for Professionals that can be utilised immediately, not undergo practical experience first. An internship s length is a good thing, as it allows the trainees to gain more experience than those who rush through courses. This experience also applies to more than diving, trainees are expected to help run the dive centre and therefore learn valuable skills in other areas, from using compressors, to equipment maintenance and repairs, to retail skills. All of these attributes make a Dive Professional more employable upon earning their Professional qualification. Internship graduates have an edge. Above all, the internship is fun, offering support, friendship and camaraderie with like minded people.

Sodwana Bay is considered to be among the premier dive sites of the world, it is home to the southern most tropical coral reefs on the planet. The reef has an incredibly dense coral cover and wide diversity of fish, crustaceans and more with over 1300 species having been recorded in the area
Is it all about diving... For the avid ocean enthusiasts, sea turtle tours, ocean tours, kitesurfing, learning about sharks, fishing and much more is on the menu and Sodwana Bay will meet your highest expectations. While on land, go quad biking or on nature walks. It is a prime location for bird watching, and several game reserves offer safaris where the big five can be spotted. Where will I stay... FAQ... 1.Do I get days off? Days off are allocated where possible in the off season periods. No days off on long weekends, public holidays or in school holiday period.this is where you gain experience and learn. 2. When do I study? This is done in your own time over the time frame that you are here,you should dedicate your spare time to getting your theory and preparation done for the final exams and evaluation. 3. What are the daily working hours? The are no set working hours some days will be 5 hours and other 10 hours. This is determined by the daily planning for the operation. Ie : launches,courses,classroom time etc.. 4.Where do I get my groceries? There are 3 grocery stores in the area of which 1 is walking distance from the Dive Centre. The other is 4km from the centre,you will be able to buy anything from veg-fruit-meat,toiletries and cleaning Materials. 5. What is the accommodation like? Basic accommodation is provided with all self catering facilities. You need to bring only your personal things- some linen,towels and other personal items you may want. You may or may not share a room this will depend on the group dynamics. 6. Can I pay my Course program off? You may arrange a payment plan. This will be totally on an individual basis and can be discussed with us before starting the program.
