IVIE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREAS PUBLIC HUNTING 2016 HUNTING SEASON * The drawing for the WMA Public Hunting Permits for the 2016 Hunting Season will be at 1:00 p.m. on August 26, 2016 at the Ivie Reservoir Field Office. This will be a public drawing and applicants are welcome to attend if they so desire. * Archery hunting will be permitted only on the during the archery season only (October 1 through November 4). There shall be no public gun hunting on the, nor will this area be available for non-consumptive use for 2016. * Both shotgun and archery hunting will be permitted on the but only during the gun season (November 5 through December 18). Hunters shall have the option to use bow and arrows during the gun season; however, they shall be required to wear the fluorescent orange clothing and headgear. * Weekend dates only for public hunting (archery and gun seasons). Application for public hunting permits on the O.H. Ivie Reservoir Wildlife Management Areas will be accepted by mail only beginning July 15, 2016 and ending August 15, 2016, at the O.H. Ivie Reservoir Field Office. Any applications post-marked before July 15 or after August 15 will be rejected. Mail application to: O.H.
