Take fun with your LUDIC Same Tout Terrain but including a second small wheels set Explanations of the OPTIONS for the LUDIC City version 3 alloy rims instead of the black nylon ones Sail /rig 5.3 sqm instead of the 4.5 sqm Sail made of Dacron with a reef instead of the Mylar Compact front steering block (quicker desassembling) 2 mud/sandgards on the back wheels Hand brake (pushing on a wheel) for any surface use 2 Big Ballon wheels on the back Back-rests for comfort on long distance sailing Any of the 3 versions of the Ludic is complete ready to sail, you do not need any option, the sail and the wheels sizes make the version. Those 2 other versions Plage/Beach and Tout Terrain versions are explained on 2 other pages ; Here on this PDF I explain the LUDIC City version. The City version is a Beach version on which you would have get a 4.5 sqm sail instaed of the 3.8. So we can say that the version depends of the equipments (sail and wheels). That makes the Version : Small wheels and 3.8 sqm sail : makes the Beach Version, Small wheels with bigger sail 4.5 sqm : makes the City version (because in the cities the winds are less regular - so larger sail will help). And with big ballon wheels your Ludic becomes a Tout Terrain version. Side of this it exist several options or equipement(s), not needed, but here down I show you for what purpose they have been designed. The new Alloy rims 8 battons have a nice desing. Those rims give only an esthetic aspect, they turn better indeed : perfec rotation compare to the nylon ones which sometimes have in rotation a lateral movement of around 2 mm, anyway most of the Clubs in France are using the nylon ones. The alloy rims cost 90 (VAT included), : so for them brilliant aspect i understand such a choice. Anyway all the SEAGULL ball-bearings are made especially filled with 80% greace instead of normal industry filling of around only 25%. That s very important for sandyachting use on beaches.
3.8 M2 Mylar, for the Ludic Plage version 4.5 M2 mylar, for the Ludic City and Tout Terrain versions 4.5 M2 Dacron with a reef reducing to 3.5 5.3 M2 Mylar (the only mylar with a reef for occasionaly use 5.3 M2 Dacron with a reef reducing at 4.5 if you want dacron sail with a reef instead of mylar tissue: + 45 VAT included if you want dacron sail with a reef instead of mylar tissue: + 45 VAT included 5.3 dacron sails instead of 4.5 mylar sail on a City or Tout Terrain version cost: + 150
The option compact front block instead of normal mudgard (105 VAT included) : This device save your time when desassembling the front part, you do not need to desassemble the mudgard with the 3 Alen screws. (Attention : only for small wheel ) not for Big Ballon front wheel just pull and it s out (sandow inside) Big Ballon rear wheels instead of the small ones on the back only : + 200 VAT included for the pair) : for a use on softer/powder surfaces. Normally it s largely enough using 2 big wheels on the back. Here on the picture : 2 big wheels and 4.5 sqm dacron sail with reef. If you want the 3 big wheels, in that case it becomes the Tout Terrain Version
Mud/sandgards : efficient for wet beaches - on which there is always a film of water, they prevent pilot s eyes from around 80% of salt water with sand projections, (140 VAT included for the pair). On the front you already have a mud/sandgard. Back-rest : comfort on long distance and rally (95 VAT included), but not for sport sailing. (you will be able to adapt is later : just doing a slit with a abrasive disc). Concenring the hand-brake, see the following page..
Other option : A hand brake : an handle which push a stainless plate on the tire, this device is efficient for every practicing surfaces : parking, grass, sand, everywhere. (+70 VAT included - also exist for Big ballon wheel) For sand use only : ask for a scraper brake into the sand, it will be better. Ice blades not proposed on the blue rectangle of the options : in a few seconds you can place ice blades instead of the wheels on the same spindles, so only a few second for the nut. 99 cm x 75 cm, so it fits into every trunk The carriage bag is included with every LUDIC, the complete frame including the 3 small wheels fit into the carriage bag. This bag has rolls like a caster bag. To prevent the mylar of the sail, it is better rolling it into the sail bag and transport it between the seats in the car.
