MONAGHAN GO GAMES 2014

Introduction After reviewing the Go Games structure of 2013, a number of changes will be implemented to allow all involved to get maximum benefit out of the Go Games Programme for 2014. The following are the key changes to this year s document: This year we will have 9 Under 8 blitzes and 9 Under 10 blitzes. To fit these dates into the busy juvenile calendar, we have 3 double blitzes organised (which means both U8 s and U10 s playing at the same time, at the same venue). These blitzes will take place in June, July and September (on a Thursday evening or a Saturday). Each group will change for each blitz. The host club is the first name in red. With extra blitzes on this year some clubs may have to host an extra blitz. Clubs will be responsible for organising the U8 and U10 blitzes (apart from the blitzes in Cloghan and Clones). The coaching staff will not be attending U8 or U10 blitzes. For this year s blitzes we will again be using Go Games referee s to officiate at the blitzes. Each ref will receive 15 per blitz. All the referee s recruitment information has been sent to the clubs. If you have any queries about any of this document you can contact me by email; developmentofficer2.monaghan@gaa.ie, or phone 087-7882859 Colin Malone Monaghan GPO
