This season each division will have its own weekend as opposed to the traditional all A, all B or all C level tournaments. Tournament Coordinators Also new this season will be team tournament coordinators. Each CPYHA team participating in a tournament will be required to name a team coordinator. It will be the team s coordinator s responsibility to ensure the team is prepared leading up to the tournament. They will also keep track of (and possibly record) the team s performance in the tournament as well as making sure all of the teams off ice work slots are filled and being properly managed. Registration update There was a discussion about the possibility of changing our current policy of forming a wait list based on the number of registered players at any specific division. The wait list is typically formed to prevent us having an awkward number of players needed to form any team. It was decided that the current wait list policy would remain in place. Coaching Selections The following coaches have been named to their respective teams. The voting went as follows. Jason Pelton made a motion to name George Hubschmitt as the head coach of the Bantam B team 2 nd by Amy Moffre, followed by unanimous board approval.

Major Minor team name/jerseys - Brian Gidley made a motion to call the four CPYHA major minor teams (squirt thru Peewee) The Junior Dynamo, 2 nd by Dave Schulman and followed by unanimous board approval. These junior dynamo teams will wear different Jerseys than the other CPYHA teams. The new jerseys will be purchased along with the other jerseys being purchased by CPYHA for the rest of the league. Note: The major/minor junior dynamo team jerseys will not be rented like the CPYHA eagles jerseys will be. They will paid for by the families with children playing on the major/minor teams. This motion is made with the understanding that any of the teams in question may decide to opt out of the Dynamo label due to the ability level of the team. The team opting out would resume using the CPYHA Eagles name and where Eagles uniforms.
Major minor teams Although these teams will be called Dynamo they are still governed by the CPYHA board and they are still CPYHA teams, nothing changes except the uniforms and team name. In other words these teams will be Dynamo in name only.
