Kadam (Kolhapur) The following are the different Activities and Events which took place in the ensuing months: 1) 32 nd Sub Junior & 42 nd Junior MSAAA State Aquatic Championships 2015 from 12 th to 14 th June 2015 was held at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune where in over 750 competitors from 26 Revenue Districts participated. Team for the Nationals was selected from these Championships. 2) 32 nd Sub Junior & 42 nd Junior Glenmark National Aquatic Championships 2015 at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune from 13 th to 19 th July 2015 where in over 1450 competitors from 29 States participated this was hosted by Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association For the first time in the history of Swimming Federation of India were 2 Championships that is Sub Junior & Junior Nationals held together for a period of 7 days. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals sponsored this mega event where in 1450 Swimmers, 180 Technical Officials from 29 States of India participated. This mega event has been recorded as the largest and longest event by Swimming Federation of India. This event was graced by high profile Dignitaries who appreciated the efforts taken by the hosts. Wide coverage was given through all Local and National Dailies. Special thanks to Maharashtra Media Services & Public Relations Private Limited who compiled all the News Items a total coverage of Rs.8.19,53,240/- was given free of charge on all seven days which is also a record.

WATER POLO Boys Team secured III position and won the Bronze Medal The Team consisted of: Sarang Vaidya (Captain), Bhagesh Kuthe, Pranav Mhatre, Shivam Ghadge, Hardik Tadkar, Vaibhav Kuthe, Piyush Suryawanshi, Adwait Purandare, Yash Mehendale, Ysah Jadhav, Suyog Amagaonkar, Jay Dhanani, Yash Gajinkar Girls Team secured II position and won the Silver Medal The Team consisted of : Monika Moses (Captain) Sanjili Wankhede, Nisha Bonde, Pooja Kumare, Mahima Moses, Shloka Motta, Tanisha Motta, Jaini Gogri, Salila Joshi, Kasturi Pinjarkar, Ruchika Kirad, Samiksha Shirke, Namrata Vywhare. 3) 8 th AASF Asian Age Group Selection Trials from 15 th to 18 th July 2015 at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune hosted by Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association, where in over 108 Swimmers participated from all over India and from which 69 Swimmers were selected for the Indian Camp 18 Swimmers from Maharashtra participated in the Indian Camp: SWIMMING BOYS : Virdhawal Khade, Viraj Prabhu, Ishan Mehra, Neel Roy, Vedant Sing SWIMMING GIRLS : Aditi Dhumatkar, Monique Gandhi, Rayna Saldhana WATER POLO BOYS: Sarang Vaidya, Bhagesh Kuthe, Pranav Mhatre, Shivam Ghadge WATER POLO GIRLS: Shloko Motta, Pooja Kumbre, Mahima Moses, Nisha Bonde, Sanjili Wankhede DIVING BOYS: Siddharth Pardeshi 4) 8 th AASF Asian Age Group Camp at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune from 17 th August to 29 th September 2015 The Indian Camp for the above Championships was conducted by Swimming Federation of India under the supervision of Maharashtra, out of the 69 Competitors selected for the Camp 18 were from Maharashtra SWIMMING BOYS : Virdhawal Khade, Viraj Prabhu, Ishan Mehra, Neel Roy, Vedant Sing SWIMMING GIRLS : Aditi Dhumatkar, Monique Gandhi, Rayna Saldhana WATER POLO BOYS: Sarang Vaidya, Bhagesh Kuthe, Pranav Mhatre, Shivam Ghadge WATER POLO GIRLS: Shloko Motta, Pooja Kumbre, Mahima Moses, Nisha Bonde, Sanjili Wankhede DIVING BOYS: Siddharth Pardeshi India Coach Pradip Kumar was overall in charge Mr. Mayur Vyas for Diving & Mr Shourya Karandikar for Water Polo accompanied the team as Technical Officials from Maharashtra

5) 5 th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2015 from 25 th to 30 th August 2015 at Singapore Miss Monique Gandhi was the only Swimmer to represent India from Maharashtra for these Championships 6) 8 th AASF Asian Age Group Championships, Bangkok, Thailand 1 st to 4 th October 2015 The following Swimmers, Water Polo Players and Divers of Maharashtra represented India SWIMMING BOYS : Virdhawal Khade, Viraj Prabhu, Ishan Mehra, Neel Roy, Vedant Sing SWIMMING GIRLS : Aditi Dhumatkar, Monique Gandhi, Rayna Saldhana WATER POLO BOYS: Sarang Vaidya, Bhagesh Kuthe, Pranav Mhatre, Shivam Ghadge WATER POLO GIRLS: Shloko Motta, Pooja Kumbre, Mahima Moses, Sanjili Wankhede DIVING BOYS: Siddharth Pardeshi Medalists were: Virdhaval Khade 50 Meters Free Style Gold, 100 Meters Butterfly Silver Virdhaval Khade Member of 4 x 200 Free Style Indian Relay team won Bronze Medal Siddharth Pardeshi High Board Diving Gold Medal 7) 12 th National Masters Championships 2015 at Bhopal from 9 th to 11 th October 2015 Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association sent 96 Entries for the above mentioned Championships held at Bhopal. The swimmers of Maharashtra won the highest medals 8) 77 th MSAAA Senior State Aquatic Championships 2015 on Saturday 10 th & Sunday 11 th October 2015 at Nagpur & on Thursday 1 st October at Solapur The 77th Senior State Aquatic Championships (Swimming & Water Polo) was held on Saturday 10 th & Sunday 11 th October 2015 at Maharashtra Kamgar Kalyan Swimming Pool, Raje Raghuji Nagar, Nagpur and Diving on Thursday 1 st October at Markandeya Olympic Swimming Pool, Ashok Chowk, Solapur, both the above Competitions were hosted by their respective District Associations that is Nagpur District Amateur Aquatic Association & Solapur District Amateur Aquatic Association under the auspices of Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association. A total number of 320 Swimmers from 25 Districts participated.

9) 69 th Senior National Aquatic Championships 2015 at Rajkot, Gujrat from 28 th October to 1 st November 2015: A contingent of 75 Swimmers participated in the aforesaid Championships. We secured Overall Runners Up Position in the Championships. 14) 56 th Maharashtra State Level Sunk Rock to Gate Way of India Sea Race 2016 on Wednesday 10 th February 2016 A total of 250 Swimmers participated from 18 Revenue Districts in Maharashtra. Mr. Prabhakar Gharat Vice President & Chair Long Distance Sub Committee was appointed as the Organizing Secretary of the event. The Competition was conducted in 5 different Age Groups for both Boys & Girls & Men & Women. Mr. Anuj Kittur from Nasik was adjudged the fastest Swimmer of the Race he completed the said event in 37.15 seconds. We are thankful to Jolly Boards Pvt.
