Nathan FROM YOUR "A" Team Captain Mike Williams Well we have won five straight overall cups and six straight NAASF cups. Let's keep it up! It is susposed to snow tomorrow at lake level so it's time to get thinking about skiing. Some early season exercises that could help : sit with your back against a wall perpendicular with the wall, work up to five minutes. Try hiking up a hill and jumping down the hill feet together like your a bunny or doing jump turns down the mountain. Get out and ride a bike or do anything that gets the old ticker ticking See ya on the slopes. Mike Williams FROM YOUR "B" Team Captain Bob Antal Ladies and gentlemen of the B team, I am honored to have been offered the opportunity to serve as your B team Captain. While I'm certainly not as attractive as our outgoing leader, I'll try to represent you well. Ok, let's get to it. Hope you've all been doing some off-season training. If not, this is a good time to begin. Some suggested areas of emphasis are: strength training ( weights/ plyometrics), yoga, cardio, etc.. Hopefully, you can all try to make it to race camp and it would be great to get to your local mountain to get some skiing in before then. Attend race clinics, if you can, and ski with people better than you. There's lots of excellent racing video available on YouTube and other sources. The

FROM YOUR Snowboard Captain Eric Bergman I HAVE A DREAM! I have seen the future, and there is snow in it! While flying, I have looked down upon the earth below and seen the future.... but none back here in Maine/New Hampshire. Now is the time to break out the wax (No body wax, Dennis!) and start the stretching (Chicken Man?) so we are ready for those moguls, trees and stubborn gates. Find your toes; touch them. Twist around to see your shadow. Get those knees pumping for the dance floor... Let's get ready for a great season and enjoy the future! Skunky FROM YOUR Uniform Co- Ordinator Jim Hershey Hi skiers and boarders.. Hope everyone had a great "off season"! We have a few Team jackets available in stock, if you are interested go to the
