Last night s loss snapped Chicago s run of 11-straight regular season wins dating to last year and a run of 12-straight road wins, which matched the longest road winning streak by the franchise since at least 1913 the 1945 Cubs squad also tallied a 12-game road winning streak. The Cubs were also the first club to win 12-straight regular season road contests since the 2013 Dodgers won 15-straight road games from July 7-August 5.
