The rider closest to the time with the least amount of faults is the winner. The overall rider closest to the optimum time will win the trophy rug for that class! AM7 ART 238.2.2 & 245.3: The rider endeavours to ride the course according to how the judge has measured PINJARRA the course HORSE and speed AND it should PONY be CLUB ridden PROUDLY at. If the rider PRESENTS jumps the THE course ON POINT without error or time faults, they then go into an immediate jump off that is timed and may include a new jump. REALTY SHOW JUMPING SPECTACULAR EVENT INFORMATION Riders are placed according to time and faults in the jump off. EA jumping rules apply, the judge s decision is final!! OTT: This class is for OTT thoroughbreds and Standardbreds. This class will be included within the Optimum Time of every height. If you nominate to do optimum time in any height and own an OTT, you will automatically go into this class. HEIGHTS 105CM AND 115CM WILL NOT BE BROKEN INTO AGE GROUPS Rosettes and rugs can be collected from the club room after results are announced PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 30CM CLASS IS CLASSED AS AN ENCOURAGEMENT ROUND AND IS DESIGNED FOR YOUNG/GREEN HORSES AND RIDERS. **COMPULSORY HELPERS** Each rider must nominate a helper over the age of 17yrs. One horse One helper if the same helper is nominated for more than 1 rider they will get more than one job. Very limited self-help is available and only in consultation with the event organiser by email or phone call and will be either set up or marshal/gear checker. No self-help is available for riders with 2 horses competing. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN NOT NOMINATE ANOTHER COMPETITOR AS YOUR HELPER PARKING Plenty of parking is available on the grounds as well as yards. BEST PRESENTED HORSE AND RIDER COMBINATION GUIDELINES IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ELEGIBLE FOR THIS PRIZE, YOU MUST ADHERE TO THE BELOW GUIDELINES AND IT WILL BE THE JUDGES CHOICE ON THE DAY. WE HAVE 2 X SENIOR (OVER 25YRS) AWARDS SPONSORED BY: SWEET IRON EQUESTRIAN THREADS and 2 X JUNIOR AWARDS (25YRS AND UNDER) SPONSORED BY: PENROSE PARK GARLANDS Even in classes/disciplines (like showjumping) where presentation is not officially judged it s nice to take pride in your horse and your appearance at competitions. Polished presentation is a sign of respect to the judge & organisers and let s be honest, it means you ll get some nice photos on the day to! Horse Presentation: Clean & tidy appearance, well-groomed with no visible mud. Oiled, neat hooves with well-fitting boots. Neatly trimmed mane & tail. Plaiting is not required. Gear & Tack: New equipment or expensive gear is not expected; however, your tack should be neat & well fitting. In fact, well used (and cared for) tack can be beautiful! Remember to pay attention to details like: having buckles in keepers having clean, polished tack correct fit & placement of all gear (i.e. nosebands, martingales and boots) Rider Presentation Clean clothing and tidy presentation. Tucked in shirt Neat hair < this can make a huge difference to your overall appearance! Clean boots Clean helmet. Pale breeches or jodhpurs. Plain chaps can be worn with short boots. If there are no specific club rules about rider presentation you can read the current EA Showjumping Dress Code here. Jackets are optional. lf no jacket is worn, shirts must not be sleeveless. If the shirt is long sleeved, the sleeves must be rolled down and buttoned. Riders must wear a dress shirt and business tie or a dress shirt with rat catcher collar done up (capped sleeves or variants will not be accepted). Collars (and cuffs of long sleeved shirts) must be white.
