The Cornish Association of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society does not accept liability for any loss of property or any accident or damage to any animal, vehicle, spectator or exhibitor, and all the entries are accepted subject to this condition. 2. ALL Exhibitors MUST have their own Public Liability Insurance and must have read a copy of the show s Health and Safety Policy and agree to abide by the requests contained within. A copy will be on the reverse of all entry forms, available on the website and in the Secretary s Office. Making entries to the show is acceptance of our requirement for Public Liability Insurance and acceptance of our Health and Safety Statement. 3. Native ponies must be exhibited in their natural state. 4. Riders must wear a riding hat which complies with the current safety standard at all times when mounted. 5. No trotting, cantering or galloping outside of the designated warm-up arenas. 6. The judges decision is final. 7. All native ponies competing in M&M classes must be registered in the main studbook of their breed society. 8. Passports must accompany the horse or pony to the show. 9. All ponies entered in ridden class must be 4 years and over. 10. All foals must be at least 3 weeks old at the date of the show and must accompany the mare in the ring. 11. Entry fees will not be refunded (unless the show is cancelled). 12. Complaints must to be made in writing and accompanied by a fee of 20 (this will be refunded if the complaint is upheld). 13. Dogs are to be kept on leads at all times. 14. In case of emergency, show organisers reserve the right to prevent entry to or exit from the showground. EXHIBITOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA Exhibitor you/we will need to provide the WPCS with certain personal information relating to you. Your privacy is extremely important to the WPCS, so we want you to know exactly how that personal information will be used. South West Pony Association s Qualifying Rules This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association s to be held on 30 August 2 September 2018, at The David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Monmouthshire. NP26 5XP To qualify for the s: 1. Enter one of the qualifying classes. 2. Be one of the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive a qualification card. 3. Complete the entry form on the qualification card. 4. Register on-line at www.showingscene.com within 14 days of qualification 5. Upload this card using our on-line management system at www.showingscene.com Please Note: Registration fee for 2018 is 30 to include all members of the family and equines owned by the family. SPSBS AFFILIATION RULES 2018 1. Classes must be confined to Registered Ponies. Ponies must be named on the entry form and in the catalogue if one is produced. Society rosettes must only be given to ponies registered with the Society or eligible for registration (i.e. foals) 2. Three-year-old fillies with foals at foot may not be shown. All foals must be a minimum of three weeks old on the day of the Show. All entire males aged 2 years and over must display a stallion disc. 3. There must be no colts or entire males in Young Handlers classes. Children under 14 years old may not show colts (excluding foals) or entire males in In-hand classes. Children under 12 years old on the day of the show may not show entire males in ridden classes. In the interests of safety, hard hats must be worn by all handlers aged 14 years or under in In-hand classes. Exhibitors should not kneel but remain standing while in the ring. Hard hats must be worn by all exhibitors, irrespective of age, in ridden classes. In ridden Classes, if a rider falls off at any time whilst in the ring, both pony and rider must leave the ring, rider dismounted, and takes no further part. DIRECTIONS: Look out for signposts from the A30 in both directions. From the east (Bodmin) Head west on the A30 and at Carland Cross roundabout (with Shell Garage on left) take the 3 rd exit (signposted for Redruth, remaining on the A30). Continue on A30 for approx. 4.5 miles to the junction called Chybucca. Take the right turning towards Perranporth along the B3284. At the end of the road turn left onto the A3075 and the showground is a short distance on the left. From the west (Redruth) Head east on the A30 and at Chiverton Cross roundabout take the 2 nd exit (signposted Newquay) onto the A3075. Continue on the A3075 for approx. 2 miles and the showground is on the right. Postcode: TR4 9LW
