ATA rules will govern this shoot and the scores will be included in the official record. 4 Rules governing this shoot 1. Contestants may shoot for targets only and be eligible for trophies. 2. In all handicap events, the squadding will be done at the squadder s discretion. 3. The management reserves the right to refuse the entry of, or to disqualify any shooter who in their opinion will interfere with the harmony of this shoot. 4. Contestants will forfeit if they fail to appear within 5 minutes of the third call for a shoot-off. 5. Many popular brands of shells may be purchased from the club. Shooters may use reloads for all events. 6. If you want your empties, put them in your pocket before they hit the ground. No pick-up of empties from the ground is allowed. 7. The club is not responsible in case of accident of theft. 8. No trophies may be taken by winners until signed for with trophy committee. 9. Only one trophy per person, per event. (Except for special multi-event trophies). 10. Trophies will not be mailed. 11. MISSING SQUAD PENALTY: any shooter missing his/her squad and desiring to re-enter the event shall pay a $10.00 penalty. 12. MAKE-UPS: A maximum of 50 targets can be made up per event. If you miss your squad for more than 50 targets, you must be re-squadded. 13. Shooters will be responsible for checking their scores and notifying management of any discrepancies. For purses, options and trophies, all scores are final one (1) hour after completion of the event. Management will not be responsible for any errors after the payoffs are posted.

ANNOUNCEMENTS CLASSIFICATION, CASHIERING & SQUADDING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2008 AT 12:00 P.M. Practice Traps open the prior Saturday & Sunday 2008 ATTENDANCE PINS WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL SHOOTERS. 100 & 200 STRAIGHT PINS WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL SHOOTERS Extra Pins will be sold on Sunday $2.00 each Pre-Squadding The MTA will offer pre-squadding for this shoot using the Internet website www.presquad.com. This is a very easy system to use which lets you pick your own squads. You can return to the website anytime to look over the pre-squadded shooters. Presquadding will start August 25, 2008 and end on September 22. A non-refundable charge of $2.00 per position, per event must be received within 10 days of pre-squadding or your pre-squadded position will be opened back up. MISSING SQUAD PENALTY: A squad will be held up three minutes for a tardy shooter. If the tardy shooter does not appear within three minutes, he/she will be scratched and resquadded in a later remaining squad. $10.00 PRE-SUADDING FEE: THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY REFUNDS OR WITHDRAWALS UNLESS AN EVENT IS CANCELLED. MAKE-UPS: A maximum of 50 targets can be made up per event. If you miss your squad for more than 50 targets, you must be re-squadded. CARRY-OVERS: Ties for trophies in Singles and Doubles events will be carried over by sub-event to the next like event. If still tied after the final event, the tie will be shot off. Unless specified otherwise, shoot-offs will be for trophies only and will be combined if possible. Handicap ties will be shot off daily. SHOOT-OFFS: Tied shooters will be called 3 times for shoot-offs. A shooter who fails to appear within 5 minutes of the third call will forfeit. If no shoot-off contestants appear, a winner will be determined by management. JUNIORS AND SUB-JUNIORS: Juniors and Sub-Juniors can shoot targets only (no options) for $20.00 per 100, or full price throughout the tournament, depending upon their decision at initial classification. SPECIAL CATEGORY SHOOTERS: It is your responsibility to ensure that your special category is shown on your entry slip for each event when you pay for that event! Any special category shooter whose score would win both their special category trophy and another will be given a choice, but a shooter may not receive more than one trophy. Sub-Juniors are not eligible for a Junior trophy if a Sub-Junior trophy is given. Senior Veterans are not eligible for a Veteran trophy where a Senior Veteran trophy is given. FALL-BACKS: Shooters must declare to Shoot Management their fall-back preference(s) within 30 minutes after the completion of the event. Lacking a declaration, Shoot Management will determine awards based on ATA rules. Shoot management shall consider special categories trophies superior to class/yardage trophies. Check your Scores! ATA Rules will apply All scores are final 60 minutes after the last score sheets are posted in the clubhouse. 5

Shooters must Squad responsibly Every attempt will be made to fill handicap squads. However, in an effort to minimize your time in line, squadding and registration are two separate and independent functions. A shooter may not shoot in the last 20 squads in one event and the first 20 squads of the next event ENTRY Your entry will not be considered made until you have paid. PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN U.S. funds only FOR THE AMOUNT OF ENTRIES. A shooter who has already cashiered for an event may not later enter the purses & options after that event has been called to the line. All shooters wishing to play any option must provide their Social Security number when cashiered. 100 targets per feild All Events will be shot 100 targets per field. Banks are numbered 1 to 56 going west to east. The numbers on the traphouses will not change for the duration of this shoot. All traps in use will begin at the start of each event. Four (4) practice traps will be available at all times. Relocation of squads Please note that squad hustlers have the authority to move squads to different nearby traps at anytime. This will be done in an effort to expedite the progress of events. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept Credit Cards. Payment for entries, RV spaces, food, etc., must be paid by cash or check. US FUNDS ONLY! Food will be served on the grounds No other beverage or food Vendors allowed NO GAMBLING ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS Dogs must be on a leash and controlled at all times. Classification All shooters must have a complete list of their 16-yard scores and averages up to date. Classification will be based on average and known ability. Shooters must shoot Class A or higher if they have shot less than 1,000 registered 16-yard targets or at 25-yard handicap (minimum) if they have shot less than 1,000 handicap targets in the 2008 target year. Shooters must shoot Class B or higher if they have shot less than 500 registered doubles in the 2008 target year. NO EXCEPTIONS. SINGLES 98% and Over... AAA 96.25% and Under 98%... AA 94.75% and Under 96.25%... A 93% and Under 94.75%... B 90% and Under 93%... C Under 90%...D Winners and Ties will advance one class DOUBLES 96% and Over... AAA 92% and Under 96%... AA 89% and Under 92%... A 86% and Under 89%... B 82% and Under 86%... C Under 82%...D Winners and Ties will advance one class The ATA Rules will govern all points not otherwise provided. If you win your class in any event or earn yardage in any Handicap, it is your responsibility to report such to the classification committee. Winners and ties move up in class. Veterans are shooters who have reached the age of 65 years prior to the date of the event in question. Senior Veteran age is 70 and over. Entertainment for the ladies Trip to the Isle of Capri Casino - Friday, October 3rd Includes $5.00 in tokens - Free Lunch Ticket Bus will leave approximately 9:00 am and return at 5:00 pm Be sure to sign up prior to departure at front desk Youth Benefit Silent Auction & Youth Lewis Options A Silent auction to benefit Missouri s youth trapshooters will be held in the clubhouse during the shoot. A variety of youth trapshooting activities benefit from this auction, including the youth scholarship program, youth teams representing Missouri at the Grand American and the Annual High School Championship in April. Bidding will end Saturday evening. The Youth Lewis Option in events 10, 15, 16 & 17 are a continuing source of funds for Missouri s youth shooters. One half of all entry fees in this option are used to help fund youth trapshooting programs, and the other half is paid back in Medic on Duty 7

TRAILER HOOKUPS Accommodations for 329 trailers with electric and water hookups are $100.00 per shoot. Advanced reservations are required. Please call first to be put on RV list. Availability is accepted by request date and must be confirmed by Management. Do not send money until confirmed spot is acknowledged. A dump station is located on the grounds. Showers and rest rooms are open 24 hours during the shoot. Commercial space with electricity is $130.00 for 20-foot space. No company will be allowed more than one space. All awnings, stakes, tables and signs must be kept behind the electrical post. Advance reservations accepted upon receipt of $130.00. Additional $35.00 required for living quarters. GOLF CART ATV RULES Please note that the MTA has designated a golf cart/atv path. No carts will be permitted on the road or behind the trapline behind traps 30 through 48. The cart path will be designated on the grounds. Designated parking areas for carts will be provided. This rule was implemented to reduce motorized traffic in heavily concentrated pedestrian areas. Failure to abide by this rule may result in loss of shooting privileges and forfeiture of entry fees. This rule will be strictly enforced. Before operating a golf cart/atv on the grounds you must obtain a permit from the MTA office which will be available at no cost. To obtain a permit you must produce a valid driver s license and proof of adequate insurance on privately owned carts or ATV s. No one may operate a cart unless they posses a valid driver s license. Your cooperation in these rules will help maintain safety and will be greatly appreciated. GOLF CART RENTALS Golf carts will only be available for rental with ADVANCE RESERVATIONS and deposit. Call the MTA office 573-346-2449 for further details and to make your reservations prior to September 20.
