Eligibility - Eligible are club teams of the DLRG, - Club teams of full members of the ILS (International Life Saving Federation), The Teams have to consist of minimum one (1) and maximum ten (10) competitors. Maximum five (5) of these ten (10) competitors have to be female or male participants. A start of females in a male team and the other way is not allowed. Competitors of the have to belong to the age group 2003 and older. The Club confirms with registration that the competitor or team fulfils all conditions concerning 4 of the German National Rulebook for Championships. (see attachment). The organizer reserves the right to verify starting documents/ member documents randomly during the competition. Each competitor of the Clubs of the ILS must show a medical certificate and a membership confirmation A competitor only has start permission for one Club during a competition year. Declaration of agreement for the use of photo and film material by DLRG / DSG With the participation each competitor automatically agrees with photos and films which are made during the competition. DSG uses this material for the media representation of the public event DLRG Trophy, of Life Saving sports in general and further aims of DLRG - particularly with regard to publication in social media as for instance on the DLRG-profile on Facebook. 3. Security procederes During the competition the security of all involved persons has first priority. Instructions of authorities have to be accepted. The used equipment must be in the condition that each injury and danger for the participants is eliminated. Wetsuits should be worn at water temperatures below of 16 degrees Celsius. Clubs and competitors have to act fair at any time. 4. Competitions and explanation Disciplines for women and men are identically depending on heats, finals and semi finals: Single Events:. Oceanwoman/ Oceanman Relay (Gemischte Rettungsstaffel): All Competitions of the DLRG Trophy are carried out according to the International Rulebook of the ILS International Life Saving Federation, Competition Rule Book, 2015-2019 Edition, Revised 2017: https://ilsf.org/lifesaving-sport/rules It is up to the referees and organizers to decide about further regulations concerning the progress, the procedure and the competition disciplines. Deviations of the International Rulebook are possible based on the local circumstances or altered conditions. In that case it will be announced during the team meeting on site. 4a. Time schedule All disciplines shall happen in a time frame from 8:00 to 18:00 h. If the daily routine prohibits the realisation of all disciplines finals inclusive the competition ends at 18:00 h, considering the finals at this point in time. The results of each athlete and each team at this point of time will be transferred into the Trophy validation. 5. DLRG Trophy: Single events: Team events: For each competitor all results of the three competitions are counted. The first three places are honoured. The three Trophy - winner teams are honoured. 7. Equipment Competition equipment: Equipment for competition parcours (e.g. Rescue Tube) is placed at the competitors disposal. An equipment pool (Skis, boards and paddles) is not allocated. Sizes of the materials are listed in the valid International Rulebook of ILS. Competitors are permitted to use equipment which is scrutinized by the judge. INVITATION CONDITIONS page 3 of 8
The organizer reserves the right to brand the equipment (also the scrutinized equipment). The participating teams are not allowed to show their own sponsors if it is in concurrence to DLRG sponsors. Therefore the participation teams have to notify their sponsors by email to the DSG: dsg@dlrg.de. In case of non-compliance (till end of competition), the organizer may withdraw the eligibility to start.. Competition clothing Every competitor has to wear a pink Lycra vest for identification and safety reasons, except the discipline Beach Flags. Lycra vests can be obtained at the DLRG Materialstelle (Store). On location these vests can be bought with an additional handling price of 10. A rental is not provided. The competitors also have to wear their (own) team-caps, which are to be fixed under the chin, at each event. Uniform team clothing is not necessary. Team-caps All clubs, whose team-caps are not registered so far, shall send a description (colour, design, shades) or a photo of the cap to Trophy@dsg.dlrg.de simultaneously with their first registration. Enclosed you find an overview of already registered caps for orientation. In case of changing the cap s design, the team has to announce the replacement. 8. Costs Costs consist of a participating fee, which has to be paid to the local organizer and an entry fee, which has to be paid to the DSG. a.) Entry fee DLRG Trophy: Each competitor has to pay the following fee for each start. It has to be paid to DSG until deadline for entries. Registration to the single Trophys is possible from 01.05. via Organet until the particular deadline. Entry fee for DLRG Trophy has to be transferred to the following bank account of DSG: Volksbank in Schaumburg eg IBAN: DE86 2559 1413 7306 0003 00 BIC: GENODEF1BCK Key word: Trophy 2018 plus venue plus club Please consider the terms of payment!!! b.) Participation fee: Each participant, competitor, advisor, attendant etc. has to pay a fee of 5, 00 for each Trophy event before deadline. These 5 also become due, if the participant does not make use of board and lodging. A repayment is not possible. c.) Costs for board and lodging: In general the teams can organise board and lodging themselves. The particular organizer offers accommodation and catering if applicable, as described in the corresponding appendixes. d.) Deposit: Each club has to pay the deposit which is defined in the announcement s appendix to the organizer. After the competition the deposit will be repaid, on condition that no problems appeared. Fees, costs for accommodation, catering and deposit have to be transferred to the respective organizer (see appendix) e.) Travel costs: Travel costs have to be paid by travellers. 8.1. Increased Entry Fee (IEF) The organizer of DLRG Trophy charges increased entry fees in case: 1. The competitor does not appear to a Trophy, IEF of 50, 00 per case becomes due. The IEF does not apply, when the club checks out the competitor four weeks before the particular DLRG-Trophy and brings a medical certificate afterwards or nominates a substitute for the athlete (disciplines maintain) before competition instead. 2. The IEF also becomes due if a competitor does not appear to a heat or a final. The IEF amounts to 50, 00 per case. It lapses when the athlete checks out in writing at the chief referee at the jury before marshalling. THE IEF has to be paid immediately on the organizers request. If the IEF is not paid, the organizer can refuse the continuance of the competition to all competitors from the respective club. 9. Admittance Regulation and Registration procedure a.) Admittance Regulation The number of the starting places is limited to 220 competitors per event. The organizer reserves the right to refuse registration already before deadline, when the maximum number of participants is reached. Registrations done afterwards will be put on a waiting list. Competitors can move up for those who have checked out or have not paid entry fee. Admissions occur in a chronological order. b) Application procedure and entries Registration and entries are possible exclusively online via Organet: https://organet.info/. Using Organet indicates a multistage procedure of registration and application: 1) Registration for single Trophys: Each user signs with surname, first name, mail address and password. He receives a link for confirmation. Present data of previous years can also be used furthermore in this case. These data have to be used for the entries for the particular single event. A processing of the registration can only be done after permission of the local organizer. The announced participation at the local organizer is significant for the online entries (see following chapter). 2) Indications for entries For a fluent scoring of the overall results (single and team events) the names of the participants have to be written exactly the same way (spelling, umlauts etc. Please therefore use the function selection at Organet. Also team manager / trainer of the club has to sign up to all three competitions with the same user account (mail address) to ensure the faultless addition of all results. c) Registration Form Registration/ board and lodging The clubs/ club teams announce their participants/teams to their particular local organizer in time. Registration forms and registration procedure is described in the attachment. The registration via local organizer is significant for the achievement of the maximum number of participants and for the entries via Organet. From 01.05.18 on, the receipt of the announcements of the teams at the local organizer is significant for the order of the activation of the entries. d) Substitutes and withdrawal of starting permission Substitutes will be recognised in the period between the third to the second week before the particular competition. The organizer serves the right to refuse the starting permission, if the registration and payment deadlines are not followed. The list of entries will be published on Monday one week after deadline. From this date an objection period for several days is granted. After this no more changes or cancellations are possible. A refund of entry fees after this deadline is not possibe, not even in case of absence or illness. The nomination of a substitute is possible, if the registered disciplines stay the same.
