Make sure to scan your ID card when entering the facility. Class Enrollments Please make a point to pre-enroll in any classes that your are interested in taking. Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment requirement prior to the start date, will be cancelled. Whiteside Park Social Media BIRTHDAY PARTIES Love the idea of having a Birthday Party for your child, but don t want the hassle of entertaining at your house? Whiteside has several options available for kids ages 1-12 years. Parents are responsible for all decorations, refreshments and basic clean up. All parties are by appointment only and are booked on room and instructor availability. Bikes and Balls Party (Ages 1-5 years) Kids can bring their riding toys and we ll set up some other fun gym stuff for this open play party. An hour in the gym and an hour in the party room. $125 Fridays 4-6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon Build It Party (Ages 3-6 years) If your child and his/her friends like to build with blocks, building bricks, boxes and more..we ve got the birthday party for them! You ll have an hour of building fun with an instructor and an hour in a party room for cake and gifts. All kids get their own builders hat to take home! $115 for up to 10 kids. Additional kids are $5 each...up to 15 total Crafty Kids Party (Ages 7-12 years) Girls and boys who love to craft will love our Crafty Kids Party. We ll do all sorts of popular crafts that your party guests can take home. Includes an hour of instructor led activities and an hour in a party room for cake and presents. $130 for up to 10 kids. Additional kids are $5 each...up to 15 total Messy Art/ Lil Scientist Parties (Ages 3-6 years) Kids enjoy messy art projects or fun experiments. Parents enjoy not cleaning up the mess! Includes and hour if instructor led activities and an hour in a party room. $130 for up to 10 kids. Additional kids are $5...up to 15 total. Gymnastics Parties (ages 4-11 years) Kids enjoy an hour with a gymnastic coach and an hour in the party room. All parents must sign a waiver before children may participate. $125.00

YOUTH TEAM SPORTS Tulsa Parks offers Youth Soccer & Flag Football (K-6th), Volleyball (4th 8th) and Boys & Girls Basketball (K-5th) Registration for Soccer, Flag Football and Volleyball will begin August 7 and run through September 8. Pre-formed teams should be turned in by September 1. There is a $ 45 registration fee. Additional fees for officials will be collected by coaches. TENNIS LESSONS Whiteside offers a variety of Tennis classes for both youth and adults. It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique. ADULT INTERESTS Portrait Painters: For experienced adult artists who want to paint/draw portraits with a live model. Artists must furnish their own supplies. Participants split the cost of the model. Group meets Tuesdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Ongoing. KNITTING WORKSHOPS: Join Samantha Davis in our monthly knitting workshop. Classes will meet on Saturdays, September 16, October 14 and November 11 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cost of each workshop is $20.00 Please bring the following supplies: knitting needles (size 9, 10 or 11); skein of worsted weigh yarn (size 4); pair of scissors. Must pre enroll!

Classes are held Thursdays from4:30-5:30 p.m. Session 1 : August 31 Oct. 5 (no class September 21) Session 2 :November 2-December 7 (no class November 23) TINY DANCERS (Ages 3-4 Years) An introduction to ballet for our preschool age friends. Children will need ballet shoes, tights and leotard. Classes are held Thursdays from 4-4:30 p.m. $40/5 weeks. Class size is limited. Session 1 : August 31 Oct. 5 ( no class September 21) Session 2: November 2-December 7 (no class November 23) IRISH DANCE: (Ages 5-18 Years) Irish dance is a traditional form of dancing which originates from Ireland. Shows like Riverdance and Michael Flately s Lord of the Dance are both Irish Dance based shows. We invite you to learn the basics of Irish Dance in this fun filled introductory class. Cost is $50 per session/4 weeks Class meets Tuesdays 6-6:45 p.m. Session 1: September 5-26 Session 2: October 3-24 Session 3: November 7-28 Dancers are encouraged to continue their Irish Dance experience through the Goode Academy. Tickets go on sale, September 5! HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL: Kids age 8 & under get ready to dress up for our annual Halloween Carnival. There will be plenty of carnival games, a Spooky House, cake walk, Jupiter jump and a costume contest. Tickets on sale at the door. $5 per child. (no charge for parents!). Thursday, October 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. HOWL-O-WEEN HUNT: Bring your favorite pooch to hunt for treat filled eggs. Bring a bag to collect their goodies! We ll start with a walk around the park, a costume contest, games and an art project. We ll be collecting pet food, dog bedding, leashes and other pet items to donate. Saturday, October 21 10 a.m.! Free!! *All dogs must be on leashes and please no dogs in heat. **Be sure to watch for information on our Annual Daddy Daughter Dance coming December 1, 2017!

Active Adult Activities ZUMBA: Zumba is an international Latin-inspired workout that feels more like dancing than aerobics. At Whiteside, we incorporate salsa, meringue, samba and more into a fun, dance workout. The class philosophy is to have fun and enjoy yourself. Don t worry about following the steps...just keep moving! You ll see all shapes, sizes and ages in our class and we re all having a great time! *ZUMBA WITH CHRISTY: Wednesdays 6-7 p.m. $32/8 classes or $5 drop in fee. TEACHERS ARE FREE!! ART FOR KIDS ART CLUB: This is a great opportunity for kids who love art but don t get much of an opportunity at school! Our after-school art club is for elementary age students (1st thru 5th) Meets Mondays & Wednesdays from 3-4 p.m. Come 1 or 2 days a week. Fee is $25 for September 11 thru November 29. Enrollment space is very limited, so enroll early! HOMESCHOOL ART CLUB: Here s an opportunity for Homeschool kids to get some great art lessons! The club meets Wednesday mornings from 10-11 am. Cost is $25 and will meet September 6 through December 6. Enrollment is limited so enroll early! PARENT/CHILD ACRYLIC WORKSHOP: Join Margie-Murphy-McNutt as she guides you and your child through the amazing world of acrylics. Class will be held on Saturday November 4 from 10 a.m.-noon. Parent and child will work together to create a beautiful piece of art. For kids ages 5 & older. $20/pair. Please sign up by Thursday, November 2. PRESCHOOL ACTIVITIES Bikes and Balls (Ages 1-5 years) This open gym time for preschoolers is a great way to socialize with other kids. Bring a riding toy. NO FOOD or DRINKS in the gym please. Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30-11 a.m. Cost is 50 cents per child/visit. Parents, please help us out by picking up balls, mats, etc. at the end of the session and moving it to the end of the gym. Starts Tuesday, August 15. Gym will be closed on October 19, October 26 and November 23. YOUTH CAMPS FALL BREAK CAMP: (Ages 6-12) Join Whiteside staff for fun-filled days during fall break. We ll do crafts, games and a field trip. Camp will be held Wednesday thru Friday, October 18, 19 and 20th. Cost is $75 or $25 per day. Enrollment is limited so it s best to enroll early. Kids need to bring their lunch and wear tennis shoes daily.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: AGES 18 36 MONTHS AGES 3-5 YEARS AGES 4-6 YEARS AGES 7-14 YEARS TUMBLE TOTS parent participation KINDER PLUS JUNIOR BEGINNER BEGINNER, **ADVANCED **INTERMEDIATE **New students need instructor permission to enroll. WHITESIDE TWISTERS Whiteside Twisters is a competitive gymnastics team that competes in the Tulsa Park gymnastics league. Competition season starts in December and goes through May. Practices are held Monday and Wednesday afternoon/evenings. If you are interested in having your child become part of our Whiteside Twisters team, call the office at 918-746-5040 and we ll have the coach contact you. Team fees are $75-$85 per month, plus additional fees for uniforms, league and meet fees. Gymnastics Sessions are 6 weeks long. Please note the days classes will not meet during your session. Class fees are due upon enrollment. Class fees are $65/6 weeks. There is a $5 discount for a sibling There is a $5 discount for session 2 if you enroll and pay in full for Sessions 1 & 2 by September 2, 2017. Parents are not allowed in classroom during instruction. There will be a parent watch week the last class of each session.
