The Spirit of the Wild Rice Conference Glenn Dorr Scholarship The Spirit of the Wild Rice Conference Scholarship was established in memory of Glenn Dorr who passed away from cancer in July 28, 2003. Glenn spent his entire life doing for his students and friends. Glen touched the lives of virtually everyone in the Wild Rice Conference during his 20 years as principal at Milnor High School. Over the years, he served as athletic director, teacher, coach, and even drove the bus when a bus driver was needed. Glenn played a fundamental roll in getting the Milnor Track Complex built, donating many hours of volunteer labor. In 1988, Glenn was recognized as district, regional, and state athletic director of the year. If Glenn was not coaching or driving bus, he attended nearly every sporting event. Glenn was an exceptional man who left a legacy a few of us could ever match. Congratulations!
