COMEBACK COMPLETE--Another newcomer to the Kansas City roster is right-handed reliever Ryan Madson, who makes a big league active roster out of spring training for the first time since the 2011 campaign when he was with the Phillies...Madson then underwent Tommy John surgery after signing with Cincinnati in 2012, was signed prior to 2013 by the Los Angeles Angels, but his only appearance in that organization was of one minor league outing before getting his outright release on August 5, 2013...Madson was completely out of the game last year, but signed a minor league free agent contract with the Royals on January 4 and made the 25-man active roster after an outstanding bounce-back spring...the 34-year old spent nine years with the Phillies, including a 32-save season in 2011.
