what TO EXPECT FROM BIG WHITE SKI RESORT IT S THE SNOW With an average of 750cm (24.5 feet) of 100% natural, dry and fluffy powder snow annually and our focus on making our resort friendly and accessible to guests of all ages we know that Big White Ski Resort is the perfect place to bring your group for the day. How do the Groups Department make booking so easy? PREPARATION: Our Groups Department will work together with you to ensure that all components of your groups package are ready before you arrive to the resort. To assist, we have outlined our pricing and policies and included a ticket order form to organize and collate the necessary information to ensure a successful day. DEDICATED GROUPS DEPARTMENT Our dedicated team specialize in looking after groups of all sizes, making sure your day trip is lots of fun and runs smoothly. value Offering exclusive deals for Group trips, we make this an affordable trip for everyone. ON ARRIVAL: If your group is arriving by bus we can help you find a convenient parking location for your bus in Happy Valley parking lot (please ask us for more information). A member of the Groups Department will meet you by the ticket office in the Happy Valley Day Lodge with all of your tickets, vouchers and itinerary. LESSONS: Take advantage of pre-purchased discounted lesson rates. Our Ski and Board School prides itself on its reputation for improving the skills of skiers and boarders alike. Each lesson voucher includes a two hour group lesson covering levels 1 through 6; from learning the basics of first turns to shredding the powder. RENTALS: Our rental shop is well stocked with shaped skis and snowboards and your group will receive a discount on pre-purchased rentals. Upgrade to high performance skis or snowblades at a small additional cost once on mountain. ACTIVITIES & MEALS: If its an off slope sort of adventure you are after we have many fantastic activities for your group, including the most popular day group activity - our Big White Tube Park. We can also organize your groups meals, allowing you to maximize your time on mountain with everything organized before you get here - whether it s a warm hot chocolate by the bonfire or a delicious buffet lunch, we have options to suit all food & beverage needs. Day group booking & cancellation policies day group payment schedule TIME FRAME GROUP SIZE POLICY Within 15 days of making the booking All Groups 50% of booking or maximum of $250 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit 7 Days prior to arrival All Groups Full payment is due ** Big White Central Reservations requires one payment per group; no individual payments will be accepted. If payment is not received by the due date the booking will be cancelled and subject to the applicable penalties. ** Payments may be made by: MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Diners Club, Discover Card, company cheque, wire transfer or money order. All payments must be made in Canadian Dollars. Personal cheques are not accepted. All company cheques must be made payable to Big White Central Reservations Ltd. Final numbers for Food and Beverage & Private Tube Park Opening Important Information 1. The above rates are strictly valid only for groups staying off mountain 2. Day Group rates are based on a minimum of 20 paying guests (or 16 if from the local area). There are no complimentary tickets with any package. 3. All guests are asked to take a photo of their Lift Pass on their smart phone or record the number written on the ticket starting with WTP. If a Lift Ticket is lost, this number needs to be presented by the Group Leader to the Groups Department at Central Mountain Check-In for a replacement. Remove tear off stubs for Lesson/Rental vouchers. Once a replacement ticket has been issued, the lost ticket will be cancelled & made invalid for further use. Without these numbers and stubs, no replacement tickets can be issued. 4. Big White Tube Park Hours: Monday to Friday 4:00pm-9:00pm. Saturday and Sunday (and holidays) 2:00pm-9:00pm. Skating Rink Hours: Daily 11:00am to 9:00pm. The Big White Tube Park and Skating Rink are weather dependent; please confirm availability before advertising any event details. 5. Restrictions may apply for groups of 30 or more guests, please contact the Groups Department for further details. Additional Day Group Booking Stipulations ** All notifications of cancellation must be sent directly to Big White Central Reservations Groups Department in writing by email or fax ** A group leader is required to act as liaison between Big White Central Reservations Groups Department & the group. Details of a group booking will not be discussed with individual guests that are part of the booking all correspondence must be directed through the group leader.
