(no class fee) QUALIFYING FOR BREED CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES NOTE: The open breed show is a qualifier for the Great American / USDF Breeders Championships Rocky Mountain Series Final as well as for the RMDS Sporthorse Breeding Championship 2017. To qualify for the Great American / USDF Breeders Championships Rocky Mountain Series Final: Horses that have been Champion or Reserve Champion Current Year Foal, Filly, Colts/ Geldings, Mare or Stallion at any qualifying show (including this Open Show) are automatically qualified to enter the Great American / USDF Breeders Championships. In addition, any other horse receiving a 77% or better in its age/sex class will be eligible to compete in the final class. A list of qualified horses is maintained by series on the USDF Web site. See the current RMDS Omnibus for a list of qualifying shows for this year. A horse may qualify for competition in a USDF Breeders Series Final Materiale Championship class by receiving one score of 72.0% or higher in a materiale class held at any USEF-licensed/ USDF-recognized DSHB or Dressage competition during the relative competition year. Scores must be earned at competitions licensed by USEF as dressage competitions. Scores earned at competitions licensed by USEF as Regular or Local competitions are not eligible to be used as qualifying scores for the USDFBC series finals materiale championships. The materiale championships will run on the same calendar year as the USDFBC series (January 1-December 31). Qualifications to compete in a class must be earned in the calendar year that the championship will occur. Any qualifications earned in other calendar years will not apply. A horse may qualify with a different rider than the rider that competes the horse in the class. Any materiale score earned at any USEF-licensed/USDF-recognized dressage competition with materiale classes scheduled prior to the USDFBC series final material championship class entered in the same calendar year are eligible for qualification to participate in that USDFBC series final. To qualify for RMDS Sport Horse Breeding Championships: the first and second place horse from any RMDS recognized sport horse breeding class (including this Open Show) is eligible to attend the RMDS Sport Horse Breeding Championships in that class. The horse, owner and handler must be RMDS members in good standing at the time the placing was earned. All horses entered in any Great American / USDF Breeders Championship Series show must either be registered with USDF or pay a $25.00 USDF Horse Identification Number Fee (that is good for the life of the horse but not eligible for any USDF Year End Awards), and submit identification information and (if available) a copy of the registry papers directly to USDF or to the first Great American / USDFBC Qualifying Event that they enter. Any horse participating in the Series Final classes must be lifetime registered with USDF. The Horse Identification Number Fee will apply toward the (lifetime) USDF Horse Registration Fee. Owners must have a current USDF Participating Membership (PM) or Business Membership (BM) to compete in the series finals classes. Awards may be withheld by USDF to Series winners if the following C - 58

information, if known, is not provided to USDF or show management prior to reporting or competition deadlines: name and breed of horse, sire, dam, dam s sire, age, sex, breeder, handler and owner. USDF membership requirements for the USDF Breeders Series Final Materiale Championship class are the following: Horses are required to have a Lifetime Horse Registration with USDF, Riders are required to have a current USDF Participating Membership and owners are required to have either a USDF Participating Membership or a USDF Business Membership. For competition purposes, a mares breeding status on January 1 will remain the same until December 31 of the same calendar year (i.e., a mare that is in foal or nursing will remain a broodmare for competition purposes after her foal is weaned, regardless of her actual breeding status, until December 31 of the same year. If she is not in foal on January 1 of the next calendar year, she will remain a Yeld mare, for competition purposes, throughout the next calendar year even if she is successfully re-bred during that year). Exception: During the calendar year in which an embryo-transfer recipient mare is due to foal, the embryo-transfer donor mare must compete according to her breeding status the prior year. Awards: Ribbons to 6th place for the open show classes, champion and reserve champion ribbons for call back classes. Open Show classes 1st place prizes. RMDS Sport Horse Breeding Championships neck ribbon to champion and reserve champion, trophy for champion, bridle ribbons 3rd through 8th place. Great American / USDF Breeders Series Champions (including Materiale) receive a Champion neck sash, embroidered cooler, and plaque. Reserve champions receive a reserve neck sash and plaque. ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT WITH THEIR ENTRY CURRENT PROOF (WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE FIRST DAY YOUR HORSE ENTERS THE COMPETITION GROUNDS) OF EQUINE INFLUENZA AND RHINOPNEUMONITIS VACINATION FOR ALL HORSES 7 MONTHS OF AGE OR OLDER. Management Rules and Procedures Classes designated RMDS Championship classes shall be open ONLY to individual horse/ rider combinations meeting the criteria described in the RMDS Standing Rules section XIV B. See the Standing Rules and qualifying requirements in the current RMDS Omnibus. During the competition, the performance arenas will be open to hand walking only up to one half hour prior to the start of the first class. No horses will be allowed in the performance arenas during breaks. On Tuesday and Wednesday, priority will be given to arena setup and maintenance, however, schooling might be allowed on a limited basis. Schooling will be allowed in performance arenas each evening if competition management deems it appropriate footing and weather. Both bridle numbers should be worn on each side of the horse when out of the stall. One bridle number is always required. RMDS Permanent Bridle tags will not be used for the 2017 Great American/USDF Region 5 Championships nor the RMDS Championships and open show due to identification issues with championship entries, sponsorship requirements and numerical sequences. ALL dogs must be leashed and attached to a person or immovable object at all times! $50 fine for all violations. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS C - 59

OF THE CURRENT USEF RULEBOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Open show entries accepted on first come first served basis, based on the postmark or date stamp with dates on and between open and close dates. Email, fax, snail mail and online entries accepted with valid payment. Sharps containers will be available in the stabling area and also in the show office for trailer in horses. Competition management may fine any individuals including trainers, owners, exhibitors, or their agents up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments. Post entries accepted on first come first served basis with space available, including RMDS and USDF Region 5 Championship classes. Priority will be given to Championship Classes for post entries. Wait list will be maintained through Tuesday 8pm Management reserves the right to: Add or cancel judges Combine, divide, limit or cancel classes Refuse entries for cause. Waive penalty fees NO SMOKING IN BARNS. Schooling (out of competition) horses may be brought to the show but must be registered on an entry form, with signatures and appropriate fees. Areas where they may be ridden in will be restricted, and priority given to horses in competition. Check with the show office for details. Stabling for competing will be prioritized over non-compete horses. All horses entered in competition must have a USDF HID or Lifetime registration. All riders and owners must have a USDF nonmember ID, Group membership, or Participating membership and/or pay appropriate nonmember fees. All riders and owners must also have a USEF membership or pay appropriate nonmember fees. Attention Competitors: Each competitor is responsible for supplying management with correct applicable numbers (USDF and USEF) for horse, owner, rider, and trainer, before the day(s) of the competition. The scores of competitors who fail to supply correct numbers may not be counted toward national awards. TIMES Provisional ride times will be emailed to riders if a legible email address is provided and posted at www.rmds.org, and www.twowhitefeet.com. Official times will be posted at the show office by noon on Wednesday. Breed Show Fees: Breed show open, under saddle, and IBC classes $40 per class all classes except call back classes. RMDS Championship Breed Classes 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 - $50 per class. RMDS Grand Champion Class #32 no fee Great American / USDF Breeders Champ classes 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 - $50 per class. Office fee $40 per breed show entry C - 60

If you are mailing overnight, please waive the required signature for delivery If you do not waive the signature, you will be charged $5. REFUNDS The office fee is non-refundable. Entries cancelled on or before the closing date will receive a refund of all fees except the office fee. No refunds if cancelled after the closing date unless ride is filled from waitlist. Waitlist maintained through Monday, September 11, 2017. No refunds of any kind for any reason including Acts of God from Wednesday, September 13, 2017 through Sunday September 17, 2017. IMPORTANT: All cancellations must be made in writing and mailed or e-mailed to show secretary. You are responsible to confirm that your cancellation has been received. Anyone not appearing for any of their dressage tests without prior notification to the show secretary will be scratched from their remaining classes. Those rides will be filled if possible. STABLING Bedding not included Permanent 10x12 stalls with hard packed floors and the possible addition of stall mats and full doors or Tent 10x10 temporary stalls with full doors and hard packed floors. Bedding required and must be purchased from the facility. Advance bedding orders with entries will be placed in stalls prior to arrival. The CHP feed office will have limited hours so it is best to order your bedding with your entry to make sure you have some when you arrive! Riders, who wish to compete at a Regional Championship in a region other than their region of residence, must submit a Change of Region Form, at no cost if received by July 1. This may be done at no cost if received by July 1. Change of Region Forms will be accepted and processed after the July 1 deadline only if accompanied by the applicable late fees. Dressage Seat Medal Semi Finals (13 and under; 14-18): A competitor may qualify by earning a qualifying score of 70% or better in a dressage seat equitation class between August 1, 2016 and July 31, 2017 or if a rider is qualified to compete in the Great American Insurance Group/USDF Regional Championships (excluding Freestyles), then they may compete in the Dressage Seat Medal Semi Finals. Qualifying For 2017 RMDS Championships Qualifying Dates: 10/01/16-9/17/2017 You need two qualifying scores, two different judges, and from two different shows, per level, see RMDS Standing Rules section XIV Championship Show paragraph B-4c for scores required. Please Note: One of the qualifying tests must be the highest test at the level. You may attempt to earn your last qualifying score in the Open section of the Championship show (see sec. XIV B-1). However, you MUST send in your championship entry form complete with entry in the Championship class you intend to qualify for on or before the Championship show closing date (see sec. XIV B-2). If you do not earn your final score in the Open section of the Championship show you will C - 64

NOT get a refund for the RMDS Championship class that you were unable to qualify for (see sec. XIV B-3). RMDS FUTURITY: Nominate your horse for the 2017 Futurity! No advance nominations are necessary, just fill out your entry form with the appropriate class and show entry fees for the 2 futurity classes and pay the Futurity Nominating Fee. Be sure to enter the two Futurity classes: classes 331 and 431 The futurity is open to all horses six years and younger who have not shown above First Level. Futurity Nominating Fee: $35 per horse. This is in addition to the class fees. Prize money will be awarded to Champion and Reserve on a 60/40 split of the nominating fee. Run under Championship rules. No prior Futurity Champion may enter. Horse, rider and owner must be RMDS members prior to the start of the classes. Provide proof of age in the form of papers or a vet certificate must be sent with entry. The FEI 5 Year Old Test is now equivalent to Second Level so any horse that has competed in the FEI 5 Year Old Test is no longer eligible to compete in the RMDS Futurity. Management Rules and Procedures Classes designated RMDS Championship classes shall be open ONLY to individual horse/ rider combinations meeting the criteria described in the RMDS Standing Rules section XIV B. See the Standing Rules and qualifying requirements in the current RMDS Omnibus. During the competition, the performance arenas will be open to hand walking only up to one half hour prior to the start of the first class. No horses will be allowed in the performance arenas during breaks. On Tuesday and Wednesday, priority will be given to arena setup and maintenance, however, schooling might be allowed on a limited basis. Schooling will be allowed in performance arenas each evening if competition management deems it appropriate footing and weather. Both bridle numbers should be worn on each side of the horse when out of the stall. One bridle number is always required. RMDS Permanent Bridle tags will not be used for the 2017 Great American/USDF Region 5 Championships nor the RMDS Championships and open show due to identification issues with championship entries, sponsorship requirements and numerical sequences. ALL dogs must be leashed and attached to a person or immovable object at all times! $50 fine for all violations. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULEBOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Freestyle entries: Sound checks will be Wednesday afternoon/evening, each morning of competition 40 minutes before the start of the arenas or another time set up in advance with the show office once ride times have been released. Music will be accepted on a CD or flash drive only. Pony measurements will take place on Thursday morning at 10am for those who have notified the show office appropriately. Other times may be scheduled as needed. Effect October 1st, 2015, participants and horses competing in Para-Equestrian classes at USDF recognized competitions will no longer be exempt from USDF memberships.
