BOTSWANA INTERGRATED SPORTS ASSOCIATION ATHLETICS (WEBSITE INFOR) BISA Athletics is one fascinating programme to follow, just from the preliminaries to National Finals. It starts from lower levels of Zones called Sub- Sub followed by sub Zones and Zonal Finals where the four Zones select teams to represent them at National Finals. Along this maze of competitions trigger emotions and egos that make it all the more fascinating. Coaches work flat out to engender the zeal and atmosphere that encourage good preparations for National Finals; what with some warnings of some athletes to watch- out for from one Zone to another, this makes it incredibly competitive. The Final Championship always leaves many yearning for more. This could not be possible without BOSETU s with mouth- watering yearly sponsorship which dates back to - - - - - - During the National finals, a team of Youth and its Coaches is selected on a transparent atmosphere for COSSASA Athletics Meet and I.S.F Cup. BISA Athletics has never disappointed in performing its duty as one of the (most reliable part of) sport development sides. BISA groomed athletes usually form more than 50% of Athletics National Teams. After COSSASA and I.S.F they, more often than not, go all the way from African to the World stage in both Youth and Junior Championships.Baboloki Thebe, LeungoScouch, KaraboSibanda, KaraboMothibi, LaronaThabe, GalefeleMoroko are, to namebut a few cases in point. They also earn BNSC awards while still in school and some sponsorship from corporate companies and BNOC. The code produced a good number of professional athletes like AmantleMontsho and Nigel Amos. 1
