ICC Members, Summer has finally arrived at Illini! June was packed with a full slate of golf activities and we could not be more pleased with the participation shown. Thank you to all that came out to support the golf program!! First, I would like to recognize our June event winners. Memorial Day 2-Man Bill Hoselton & Mark Strawn IWGA Miss Elberta Laura Mizeur Illini Invitational Jay Cole & Thom Woodward Next, I want to take an opportunity to keep you informed of the upcoming events we have scheduled for you in July: Flag & Yellow Ball Event Wednesday, July 4 th Make your own reservation & team Entry Fee: $20 per player Eligibility: All Golf Members of Illini Country Club Format: Yellow Ball Event & Flag Tournament Mr. & Mrs. Club Sunday, July 8 th 1:00 PM Shotgun Entry Fee: $80 per team Includes: Golf, Prizes & Dinner Eligibility: All Golf Members of Illini Country Club Format: 9-Holes Scramble & 9-Holes Best Ball Medal Play and Senior Club July 14th & 15th Tee Times beginning at 7:30 AM Entry Fee: $60 per player Includes: Buffet Lunch, Golf & Prizes Eligibility: All Golf Members of Illini Country Club Format: Stroke Play Event Gross and Net Division Additionally, we will award both a Gross and Net Champion in the Senior Division (60+) Ladies!! The IWGA is in full swing If you are not a member and would like to drop-in to give it a try, contact the Golf Shop to sign up! We have a game every Tuesday morning. If Tuesday mornings do not work for you, come out on Thursday afternoons for our popular 9 & Wine events. Junior Golfers Summer Camp is in session. The camp is open to all ages and abilities and runs on Wednesdays during the month of June and July. Also, start thinking about your fall schedule After-School Golf will begin September 1st!
