Welcome to the Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club The Directors and Members of the Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club welcome you to the 87th Annual Oregon State Championships. It is an honor for us to host this shoot and we are making every effort to accommodate all shooters and their families. In 1989 Hillsboro hosted its first ever PITA State Championship and we are proud to have stayed in the State Shoot rotation ever since. Back then we had a few traps and a World War II Quonset hut and over the years we have built into what you see today. We have done it with the team effort of our club members volunteering time and money to get the job done. Today, many of the faces have changed but the attitude is preserved, We still have the same enthusiasm and love of the sport of Trapshooting. And great respect for those who have crated our trapshooting history. We are determined to see our sport grow and thrive and our youth shooting programs will help carry the sport into the future. The board and membership of this club consist of many competitive trap shooters who volunteer their time and efforts to make the club and sport continue to be viable. Our club has an excellent manager in Tonya Julian. She works tirelessly to insure that the right things are happening. This year we have upgraded our RV parking with new 50 and 30 amp service available and additional power to our trap line. We will also have live video feed available to view the on-deck board from your smart phone. The club will host a barbeque Steak Feed on Saturday night and the Kitchen will be open for Breakfast and Lunch every day. Our Annual Gary Morlan Memorial Shoot will be held the previous weekend and that will be the perfect opportunity to Warm Up for the State Championships. With Oregon Doubles Classic starting on Wednesday, June 13th, there will only be a two day break in the action! With over 2800 targets in a ten-day period, this will be your biggest target breaking opportunity of 2018! Please plan on making this your PITA/OSTA destination for the year. Great People, Great Targets, Great Background! See you in June! Sincerely, Steve Kaufman, Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club President 2

On behalf of the OSTA Board and the Portland Gun Club, we invite you to attend the 87th Annual Oregon State Trapshooting Championships. Hillsboro Trap & Skeet Club has been working hard to prepare the club and ready the traps for a great shoot! Please make plans to attend the General Meeting on Friday afternoon, this is your opportunity to voice your opinions and vote for new members of the board. I look forward to seeing and speaking with you. Drive carefully and shoot well. Mike Riggs, President OSTA. 3
