Checking the usage Intended use Magnetic relief valve, open when de-energized, for the monitoring of gas valves for tightness used in conjunction with a visual discharge unit. For purging excess or leakage gas. This function is only guaranteed when used within the specified limits see page 6 (Technical data). Any other use is considered as non-compliant. D-4908 Osnabrück, Germany CE-006U64 WARIG The solenoid body heats up during operation depending on ambient temperature and voltage. Installation > +80 C > 76 F CAUTIO Please observe the following to ensure that the magnetic relief valve is not damaged during installation: Do not store or install the unit in the open air. Ensure that there is sufficient space for installation. Sealing material and thread cuttings must not be allowed to get into the valve housing. We recommend that a filter be installed upstream of every system. Do not use compression fittings. Do not clamp the unit in a vice. Only secure the connection flange by holding the octagon with a suitable spanner. Risk of external leakage. The actuator cannot be rotated on magnetic relief valves..s and..g. The housing must not be in contact with masonry. Minimum clearance 0 mm. Installation position: black solenoid actuator in the vertical upright position or tilted up to the horizontal, not upside down. -
Plug 6 7 8 When installing two plugs on a with position indicator: label the sockets and plugs to avoid confusion. Wiring Use temperature-resistant cable (> 80 C). Disconnect the system from the electrical power supply. Shut off the gas supply. Wiring to E 6004-. Preparing the wiring If the M0 cable gland or plug is enclosed, push through the knock-out for the cable gland then remove the cover. The cover must not be taken off before pushing through the knock-out as it prevents damage to the connection box. If the M0 cable gland or plug is already fitted, you do not need to push through the knock-out. First push through the knock-out then unscrew the cover! 4 Socket 6 7 8 8a Connecting a without position indicator LV (+) (-) M0 cable gland 6 LV (+) (-) LV (+) = black (-) = blue 7 8 8a = (-) = LV (+) -

Designed lifetime The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the Energy Performance of uildings Directive (EPD) demand regular checks on and maintenance of heating systems in order to ensure a high level of use in the long term, a clean method of operation and safe function. The service life on which the construction is based, hereinafter referred to simply as the designed lifetime, is compiled from the relevant standards. You can find further explanations in the applicable rules and regulations and on the afecor website (www.afecor.org). This information on the designed lifetime is based on using the product in accordance with these operating instructions. The product must be serviced at regular intervals. Once the specified designed lifetime has been reached, the safety-related functions must be checked in accordance with the section entitled Maintenance. If the product passes the aforementioned function tests, you can continue to use it until the next scheduled maintenance operation. At this point, these tests must be repeated. If the product fails one of the aforementioned tests, it must be replaced immediately. This procedure applies to heating systems. For thermoprocessing equipment, observe national regulations. Designed lifetime (based on date of manufacture) in accordance with E 6, E 6 for : Type Designed lifetime Switching cycles Time [years] 0 to 00,000 0 to 0 00,000 0 Long-term use in the upper ambient temperature range accelerates the ageing of the elastomer materials and reduces the service life (please contact manufacturer). -7
