2. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (Cont.) Part A (Cont.) 11. Using the old window as contour templates, trim, as required, the new bubble window P/N 2.6123-7 or P/N 2.6129-402, as applicable (for emergency exit window) and P/N 2.6027-8 or P/N 2.6129-401, as applicable (for cabin entrance door). For proper window trimming, position each old window with its outer face in contact with the inner face of the relevant new bubble window, centring the bubble portion of this last one respect to the frame marking previously carried out on the old window. Note Acrylic windows are tough BUT THEY ARE NOT UNBREAKABLE use care in handling and working. Before installing the bubble window, carefully smooth the edges to remove notches. Acrylics are notch sensitive. 12. Position the new bubble window in place on the relevant structure and lock it temporarily in place, then from the outer side, trace the relevant skin frame contour on it; Note The skin on the cabin entrance door and on the emergency exit window may be trimmed slightly if they interfere with the bubble portion of the new windows. 13. Remove the bubble window and referring to frame contour previously traced on it, remove the protective film around the coupling area from its both sides, and further 3 mm around the traced frame contour only on its outer side, to allow the subsequent sealing procedure; 14. Referring to drawing R.0483, position and install the sealant tape P/N NV7.001-10 inside the window retainers and inside the skin around the window frame contour, leaving about 3mm free area inside the skin around the windows frame contour to allow the proper sealing; 15. Referring to drawing R.0483, position and install the new bubble window P/N 2.6123-7 or P/N 2.6129-402, as applicable (for emergency exit window) and P/N 2.6027-8 or P/N 2.6129-401, as applicable (for cabin entrance door windows), using the previously removed retainers.
