3A Football Finals Information Palmer Ridge Community, As you may have heard, we are hosting the 3A State Championship Football Game against Erie High School on Saturday the 2 nd of December, at the Air Force Academy Falcon field. Please note that although we are the home team, this is a CHSAA event and also on a military establishment, and most importantly, this game is about the kids in uniform. Please go to the game to support the kids, not yell at officials or the opposing team. We have a great school and are representing Palmer Ridge, and the Community of Monument. We are on a large stage in the state this Saturday, and have a wonderful opportunity to highlight how great a community we are fortunate enough to be a part of! In order to make your experience the best possible, and allow our boys to play their best and have your support, please read the following information about the game-day policies. Lance McCorkle Athletic Director and Assistant Principal The following updates and general information are important for your coaches and community for the football game this weekend. All tickets are general admission but we ask that your fans sit in designated sections which are listed below, highlighted in the attached map, and will be marked at the stadium. Air Force Academy Entry Policy: Use North Gate entrance only! No admittance will be allowed at the South Gate. Entry will be allowed at gate starting at 9:00 am. All Drivers must have ID s upon entrance, and all vehicles are subject to search. All vehicles must have up-to-date registrations and license plates. Falcon Stadium Entry Policy: Early arrival is suggested. For safety and security, please note size restriction of bags allowed inside Falcon Stadium. Be prepared to show keys, cell phones or other metal related items during screening/metal detection process. NOTE: Do not leave any items at gates; return items to your vehicle or dispose. If you leave the stadium, you may not reenter! Advance Ticket Sales: Tickets are available at the box office or on line at https://gofan.co/app/events/19145. Ticket prices are $9 for adults and $7 for students and seniors (60 plus) at the gate. Tickets purchased online will be subject to a convenience fee, but if fans wait until game day, they risk missing the start of the game due to long lines.

The trophy presentation will be held at the 30 yard lines on each team s respective hash mark. A table containing both trophies will be placed there immediately following the team handshake. For the 2 nd place team, the head coach and team captains are expected to be present but the entire team is welcome to participate. We will present the runner-up trophy first, then move to the championship trophy presentation. Please make sure you coaches and players are ready to participate. Fans are not allowed to enter the field for celebration. National Anthem Will occur at 12:55 p.m.
No hanging of banners, signs or other decorations is allowed! Students with CHSAA media passes must have ID to enter per Stadium policy. At the conclusion of the trophy presentation, Spectators should exit the same gate they entered. Timeline of the day: 9:00 Air Force Academy gates open for entry. USE NORTH GATE ONLY! 10:30 Teams arrive on base, go to Stadium and Locker Rooms 11:00 Tickets go on sale at the ticket booths 11:00 Gates open to the Stadium 12:55 National Anthem 1:00 Kickoff SPORTSMANSHIP PROTOCOL AT ALL CHSAA CONTESTS AND ACTIVITIES 1. National Anthem- When the National Anthem is played or the Pledge of Allegiance is recited, students, fans, coaches and players should stand at attention, remove hats and face the flag. 2. Cheerleaders/Fans/Spectators It is recommended that there be positive cheers only. Only cheerleaders may use megaphones. All patrons must wear shirts and shoes. Face painting is allowed. Cheer and tumbling routines must be in front of your teams student body. Routines that spill onto the area of the opposing team are prohibited. 3. Banners One cloth or vinyl banner may be used, but must be sanctioned by the game management, principal, and/or athletic director before the contest. Note: Some facilities, including venues used for CHSAA playoffs, may not allow any banners. Paper banners are not allowed at CHSAA sponsored playoff events. The words and graphics on banners must be positive: i.e. beat, outscore, conquer, etc; Negative banners: i.e. kill, maim, scalp, etc, will be confiscated and may result in no future use of banners. 4. Noisemakers All artificial noisemakers are prohibited. This includes: cowbells, drums, whistles, horns, plastic clackers, thunder sticks, etc. Exception: bleacher kicking is permitted if the facility allows it.
An air horn or cannon may be used on the field and only if supervised by a school designee. It should never be disruptive to the playing of the game and used only during dead ball periods at the end of playing action. No musical instruments and/or amplified music, including drums, shall play while the game clock is running or when a live-ball situation is applicable by rule, whether the game is indoor or outdoor. This includes fanfares, drum rolls, etc. The only time the game, once started, is not in progress is during a timeout or intermission. This applies to the use of outdoor, in-gym, or inarena sound systems and public address announcements. The announcer is an integral member of game administration and is a reporter of information not necessarily obvious to spectators. Great care must be exercised to see that neither team gains an advantage from announcements over the public address system. Announcers are not "play-by-play announcers. There shall be no amplified instruments at any CHSAA playoff events. CHEER FOR YOUR TEAM AND NOT AGAINST THE OPPONENT!!
