See attached Recital Order. Shows and rehearsal are held at West Orange High School Auditorium. Directions included. Shows are 2 hours in length. WE DO START ON TIME!!!

Send coloring books and/or small inexpensive games to show. NO FOOD, DRINKS OR GUM! PERFORMERS should make an itemized check list of all costume pieces & accessories. Each performer should have a kit containing: Band-Aids, safety pins, bobby pins, elastic for shoes and hair and tissues. Older students should also have a scissors, a mirror and makeup. SEWING COSTUMES - Attach all shorts, tutus or belts to costumes in 4 spots around wait. All safety pins must be removed from the costume before the student dances!!! * DO NOT stitch around the entire waist because costume will lose elasticity. COSTUME STRAPS - must be sewn securely - approximately 4 inches apart. BOWS & ACCESSORIES - must be securely attached. Bows are attached to the elastic or strap on the instep of the shoe using pins included with bows. Elastic must still stretch. SHOES - must be the color designated and ballet shoes must have elastic sewn over the instep for security. FULL NAME - must be on all costumes, shoes, accessories, tote bags and any personal property. MAKEUP - is to be used for both rehearsal & shows. Blush, bright lipstick & eye shadow are a MUST FOR ALL! HAIR - Low bun for all older students. Others have specific hair styles noted. (If a dancer s hair is too short for the specific style, keep hair neat & off the face.) No colored barrettes or bows are to be used. HEADPIECES & HATS - Adjust hat elastic, double knot & cut off excess. Other headpieces should be secured with bobby pins. UNDERALLS - nude with nude or clear straps are to be used by all students requiring a bra, all 2 piece costumes & have a costume change. Bras may be used under these but must not show. Clear straps are available for bras. Always use nude colored bras under costumes. NO UNDERWEAR SHOWING! NO NAIL POLISH, EARRINGS & JEWELRY, OR UNDERWEAR SHOWING! NO CELL PHONES! NO GUM, FOOD OR DRINKS! West Orange High School will not allow us to have any food or beverage or balloons in the auditorium. Please abide by these rules - WE WANT TO CONTINUE TO BE WELCOME. ONE PARENT is allowed to wait for their child(ren) in the auditorium during Dress Rehearsal. No one allowed backstage or in dressing rooms during the show! We hire plenty of backstage & dressing room help. We know where all parents are seated and will contact you if there are any problems. We have security backstage & in the audience. Parents - relax & enjoy the show. RECITAL TICKETS - Any unsold tickets will be for sale in the lobby at recital for $25 each. A professional videographer will videotape the shows. DVD s are available for purchase until May 18th. NO CAMERAS OR VIDEOCAMERAS ARE ALLOWED AT THE SHOW! It is a distraction to the dancers! Please do not jeopardize all of their hard work. Please do not stand in the aisles during the show. This ruins the show for others who have also come to see their children. All 4 Dance Individual & Class Recital Portraits Saturday, April 28, 2018 Dress Rehearsal - West Orange High School CHARLES ANTHONY STUDIO will be taking individual and class portraits at Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Pictures will be available for pickup at the Recital. Please bring the attached order form and cash or check payment to Dress Rehearsal. Payment will be made directly to Charles Anthony Studio upon order at Dress Rehearsal. CLASS RECITAL PORTRAITS: Only classes that I have been informed that parents/students would like the class portrait of will be photographed at Dress Rehearsal. The classes will be escorted to the lobby by the dressing room worker to take class portraits after they are done performing on stage. When the class is finished with their photo, the dressing room worker will escort the class back down to the cafeteria/dressing room where the students will sit at their designated seat until the parent/guardian signs them out and picks them up. Class photos will be taken before individual portraits. INDIVIDUAL RECITAL PORTRAITS: Students may have individual recital portrait taken in the lobby at Dress Rehearsal.
