Dear Friends, IWAS WHEELCHAIR FENCING WORLD CUP 2011 The Ayuntamiento de Málaga together with our Fencing Club CIUDAD JARDIN in Malaga has the great pleasure to invite a delegation of your country to participate in the 2011 Wheelchair Fencing World Cup that is going to be held in Málaga according to the following programme: Thursday March 31 Arrival of Delegations Classification Weapons and Wheelchair control Technical Meeting Friday April 01 Foil Men Cat A, B, C Sabre Women cat A, B Saturday April 02 Epée Men Cat A, B, C Epée Women Cat A, B Sunday April 03 Sabre Men Cat A,B Foil Women Cat A, B Team Foil Men Team Sabre Women Departure of all Delegations Monday April 04 Departure Delegations RULES The competition will be carried out according to the FIE and IWAS WF Rules.
ECONOMICAL CONDITIONS All participants will be accommodated at Hotel Tryp Guadalmar**** Moby Dick, 2 - Urbanización Guadalmar, 29004, Málaga ESPAÑA The price includes full board accommodation, local transportation, and entry to the competition. The below mentioned fees are effective March 31 4 April. Delegations arriving earlier or departing later are not guaranteed the same price. The cost of stay per person per 3 or 4 nights is: HOTEL Single Double Tryp Guadalmar 3 Nights 600 3 Nights 450 4 Nights 650 4 Nights 550 Delegations are required to send by bank transfer a minimum of 30% of the total amount of your accommodation invoice by 14 February 2011. Otherwise, the reservation will not be guaranteed. Payment must be in Euros ( ). After receiving Final Entry Form C and deposit (non-refundable) we will send you an Invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your Delegation. This is to be paid by bank transfer by March 19 th. ENTRY FORMS Forms A and B at the end of this invitation must be completed and submitted to the Organisers by February 14 th 2011 Forms C are also included in this invitation which should be sent by fax or email in the usual way by March 19 th 2011 joint with the copy of the Bank Transfer Please read the section regarding Visas very carefully.
If you do not complete the information required prior to the deadline, or we do not receive your Delegation s deposit payment, then we will assume that your delegation is not participating. We would appreciate the early confirmation of your intention to participate or not. Please submit Entry Form A and B at the end of this document as early as possible. Deadlines for the Entry Forms are as follows: Form A before February 14, 2011 Form B before February 14, 2011 Form C before March 19, 2011 EQUIPMENT CONTROL The equipment control will be at the Guadalmar Hotel on March 31th at 15.00 22.00 TRANSPORTATION PLAN Transportation from the airport to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in good time, and according to the deadline on Entry Form C. Transportation from the official hotel to the venue for athletes will be according to the competition programme. The shuttle service to the Hotel will depart from MALAGA airport, there will be a welcome desk where you should address to in order to coordinate transportation. VISAS & VACCINATIONS Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Spain prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate.
INSURANCE The organiser will not accept any responsibility financial or otherwise for loss, injury or illness of any Delegation member. All members of the attending Delegations must insure themselves by a sufficient health, accident and liability insurance. By submitting the entry the National Federation confirms that all persons named on the entry are covered by such insurance. GENERAL INFORMATION All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition and during all ceremonies. Please contact directly the LOC to request accommodation for family and friends wishing to attend the competition. The weather conditions in Malaga in April may vary between 18 25 degrees (Celsius).
