North Tyneside Give them tools for life! A healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body for children and young people, but sometimes it can be harder to achieve. Active North Tyneside has teamed up with Relax Kids to offer sessions for young people aged 11+ who may be struggling with anxiety issues, or low self-esteem. This free six-week course will help your child: Relax and be calm Feel confident Focus and concentrate Be imaginative Develop creativity Classes are delivered by Relax Kids trainers and take place in a welcoming, supportive environment. The course covers mindfulness and relaxation, movement and dance, massage, games, yoga stretching, positive affirmations and calming breathing. Eligibility criteria apply, ask for details.
