Kenosha Velodrome Association May 8, 2017 Minutes Board Meeting The seal isn t done because it has been too cold. Closed until further notice. Waiting on city. Paint, third week of May. Depends on the weather. Memo of understanding if on delay by the city. Member Meeting Called the meeting to order John will correct the typos. I will block out the Tuesday Night report for clarification. Approval of the minutes was accepted The seal has been done on 15 sections the contract for the 300 feet of cracks on the track. 500 feet of cracks has not been done. Timeline on how long it will be closed has not been determined. Team Wisconsin donated $100 - John Cline sent a thank you on May 10 th, 2017. 7706 Hillcrest Dr Wautatosa WI 53212 Treasury Report Will be attached. Treasury report was approved. Monday night report they are ready to go just waiting on the track. Hasn t decided to get who to get the bikes fixed. Rededication committee- Frank Carmicheal is the MC.working on a band and national anthem. June 12 th. Working on the details for who to sing the national anthem and will add all these details to the webpage and FB> Tuesday Night Report will attach the report. Sponsor committee- banners and who gets what is being worked out and banners are being made. Cakes have been ordered. Track books need to get another quote. Motion was made to let the book not exceed $1000 for the booklets. T shirts Doug is going to order the shirts. Track Day Status June 3 rd. Fliers are provided. Went over a tentative schedule will try and get this added to the minutes. By law committee is still working on the rewrite and discussion is tabled.

National Track Day June 3, 2017 Presented by Kenosha Velosport Cycling Have you ever wanted to try out track cycling? Are you curious about the improvements made to the Washington Park Velodrome? Then come try out the track for FREE!!! Who: Anyone who wants to try track cycling and ride the velodrome. What: We will have velodrome volunteers, expert racers, and coaches at the track to help. We have bikes available for to use, or bring your own fixed gear or stock bike. When: Saturday, June 3, 2017 9:00 10:30am 10:30 1:00pm 1:30 4:30pm Try yours or one of our stock bikes on the track. Participants must be at least 5 years of age and have experience riding a bike. Try a fixed gear track bike, bring your fixie or try one of ours. Participants must be at least 9 years of age and have experience riding a bike. Our experienced racers will take over for a fastest on the track sprint tournament. Charge for this will be $15. No payouts, just bragging rights. Cost: FREE for first two sessions. $15 to race.
