Introduction: The development of distribution cabinets is the practical reply from KRONE to the ever increasing demands on the data, telephone, and network technology. Cost-effective, custom-made solutions are being supplemented with an extensive modular related accessory programme and will result in a wide range of excellently designed standard distribution cabinets. The base frame consists of welded front and rear frame halves screwed together with connecting pieces. For easy transport and dismantling of the cabinet, only four screws need to be loosened. Doors and 19 angles can remain attached if the cabinets are fitted with cross-members in the frame halves. The product programme consists of: Pre-configuration of the standard model as an economical basic version and individually configured distribution cabinets with modular system accessories. Besides modularity and flexibility, all distribution cabinets offer impressive user advantages, all conform to the newest international standards according to IEC 297-1/2 (19 ) and IEC 917-2-1 (metric). The rack has a high degree of stability with a low net weight and regular 25mm perforation levels for the installation with system accessories. The small profile allows a maximum usable width (19 and metric) and an additional height unit. Features and advantages: Door can be hinged to open either left or right. Side walls fixed with four screws to the distribution cabinet and locked with a safety lock. Distance spacers allow the cabinets to be set up in rows irrespective of the installation level. Modular roof/floor system with three areas for the individual configuration: cable entry with brush panels (fig. 1), passive ventilation or active fans (fig. 2). Identical openings are also available in the higher or lower side wall areas. Plinth (height 100mm) in closed and passive ventilated models with removable screens (fig. 6). Cross-member for depth-variable installation over the entire height. The 19 level can be installed either in the middle or in another position convenient for the user. Shelf carriers for the depth-variable installation of the 19 angle fittings. Shelves in solid or ductile material in several sizes and different depths for fixing on the frame profile on the front and back 19 sliding rails (fig. 4 and 5). Cable entry connection rails for mounting either at the top or bottom allow for the fitting of cable clamps and/or cable ties (pic. 3). The wall mount cabinet was developed specifically for smaller networks, sub-distributors and floor distributors. The familiar access problem is solved by the fact that the door can be quickly taken off after opening, the side walls can then be pulled forward. This means that the cabinet is accessible from 3 sides, making installation as easy as possible. Cables enter the cabinet through the roof and floor through brush strips which can be optionally replaced by flange plates.
