Upon completion, participants will have Basic Water Safety skills and can volunteer as a Swim Instructor Assistant. Participants, 15+, can then apply to be a paid Swim Lesson Instructor. Anyone under the age of 18, prior to swimming in the pool, must complete the YMCA swim skills assessment and be assigned a red, yellow or green swim band. These bands help our certified lifeguards keep our swimmers safe. SUMMER LOCKER ROOM AND GUEST INFORMATION GUESTS Guest must be accompanied by a YMCA member, age 18+. LOCKER ROOM USAGE DURING CAMP SEASON Between June 11-August 24 our Y will be a buzz with children in our Summer Camp programs. We are excited for them to have the Best Summer Ever. Our camp day runs from 7am-6pm and our campers swim daily between 12:30-4pm. Locker room usage will peak during this time.
