Dear Friends and Anglers, Greetings from Hook, Line & Paddle! Preparations have begun for the 10th Annual TJM Charity Kayak & Paddleboard Fishing Tournament. Partial proceeds from this year s event will be donated to New Hanover Humane Society. The TJM Charity Kayak & Paddleboard Fishing Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 on the Cape Fear Coast in Wilmington, NC and Wrightsville Beach, NC. We are hoping to make this annual event fun for the entire family. Considering the explosive popularity of coastal inshore kayak & paddleboard fishing, we re expecting a great turnout from the local, regional, and out of state kayak & paddleboard fishing communities. In addition to the tournament, there will be a captain s meeting the night before at Hook, Line & Paddle starting at 6:30pm, free food from Buffalo Wild Wings Porter s Neck, and lots of fun. Each participant will receive a captain s bag (100 total captain s bags & first 20 to register will receive an upgraded captain s bag) and event t-shirt. This year the tournament shirts will be a Cool-Dri 50+UPF Fishing Shirt. There will also be great raffle prizes. With the help of our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers, we can all help the New Hanover Humane Society. Enclosed is sponsorship information to become a sponsor for this great cause. We also need volunteers and prize donations for one or more of the following: tournament winners, raffles, and captain s bags. If you can help with any of these, it will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to email hooklineandpaddle@yahoo.com or call us at (910) 792-6945. We appreciate your time and consideration in helping us raise money for New Hanover Humane Society. Sincerely, Ryan Meddock 435 Eastwood Road Wilmington, NC 28403 (910) 792-6945 www.hooklineandpaddle@yahoo.com www.hooklineandpaddle.com
