WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS STATE ONLY COMPETITORS ALLOWED IN RING WHILE ALL EVENTS ARE BEING RUN THIS IS A NON SMOKING EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS The Show will be held under the Rules and Regulations of the Qld Chamber of Agricultural Societies and PCAQ Rules. All Exhibitors and Competitors other than those issued with special passes are required to pay the prescribed entrance at the Gate. The Rules and Regulations of the Chamber of Agricultural Societies and the Notes as set forth in this Schedule are to be the conditions of competition. Any matter arising not specially provided for in the foregoing shall be determined by the Committee, whose decision shall be final. All protests shall be in writing and must be lodged with the Secretary within half an hour of the event. A sum of $100.00 shall be lodged along with the written protest and the onus of proving the protest shall rest with the person lodging same. If, in the opinion of the Committee, the protest is considered frivolous, the deposit shall be forfeited to the Society. All rules pertaining to Breed Classes and Open Performance Classes shall be taken from the Australian Horse Show Association Show and Performance Rule Book. Any person, whether an exhibitor or otherwise, who makes use of foul or abusive language on the grounds will incur the penalty of expulsion, or dealt with as the Stewards may determine. DOGS Dogs, other than those owned and being shown by members of the Canine Control Council, must be kept in a closed float or vehicle or else on a short leash and must be suitably muzzled as to prevent it being able to injure or bite any person or other animal. ALL RIDERS UNDER 18 YRS MUST WEAR APPROVED SAFETY HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHILE RIDING ANYWHERE ON THE SHOWGROUNDS. AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS - 3838 RIGHT OF REMOVAL This committee reserves the right to have removed any item which in their opinion is considered dangerous and objectionable and which is exhibited or offered to patrons as an item for sale or as a prize given or distributed in any manner, and further reserves the right to immediately cancel space allocation for the current show period and/or any further show held on these grounds. A completed WAIVER FORM and HORSE HEALTH DECLARATION FORM must be handed to Secretary s office PRIOR to competing. Local Riders are defined as riders residing in Division 11 of the Moreton Bay Regional Council/and/or within Pony Club Zone 26, and Northern Suburbs Pony Club. All sporting events run under PCAQ rules. 2. All 6 Yrs & Under are non-competitive as per PCAQ Rules. 3. Riders can only compete in ONE age group. 4. 6 Yrs & Under Led can NOT compete in under 8 yrs. 5. DRESS CODE ALL AGES safety helmet (Australian Standards Approved) and riding boots must be worn at all times as per PCAQ rules. All riders to also wear jodhpurs, dress shirt jacket is optional

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN BREED CLASSES: 1. All animals being exhibited must be registered in accordance with their respective Breed Society requirements and, where applicable, exhibitors must be financial members of good standing with their Association. 2. All Registration Papers must be available on request. 3. Ribbons will be awarded to Third Place in all classes. 4. Current EFA or Show Horse Queensland Measuring Certificates will be accepted. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN RIDER & HACK CLASSES: 1. Competitors must only compete in ONE Age Section 2. 6 Yrs & under Led can NOT compete in under 8 yrs 3. Horses must compete in only ONE Height Section 4. A Maiden is a horse or pony that has NOT won a first prize at an Agricultural Show. 5. A Novice is a horse or pony that has NOT won a first prize at a Royal Show or Open Champion at an Agricultural Show 6. Novice & Maiden horses or ponies are eligible to compete in Open classes. 7. Ponies, Galloways and Hacks must choose to compete in either the Open classes or the Hunter Classes. All eligible horses can compete in the Novice Classes. 8.
