Task 1 Question 1 A new fitness suite is planned for the sports centre. There is a budget of 85,000 to furnish the fitness suite. There is a door, which is 2m wide, in the top right hand corner. Not to scale 15m 10m Gym equipment needs to be installed. Running Machine 5,400 Exercise Bike 2,800 Cross Trainer 6,400 Rowing Machine 1,200 Each piece of equipment needs a space of 2.2m x 1.2m. There must be 1m between every piece of equipment. There must be at least 0.8m between any machine and the walls. There must be combination of all pieces of equipment. Children are charged 1.25 admission and adults are charged 2.50. It costs 3,000 a week to maintain and staff the swimming pool.
