RULES, REGULATIONS & OTHERS: Location: NIT Calicut is situated 22 kms. away from Calicut city on the Mukkom road, off Calicut Mysore Highway. Calicut is well connected by air, rail and road. It is an important station on the Konkan rail and 120 kms west of Palakkad junction on the New Delhi Thiruvananthapuram rail route. Weather: Weather in Calicut during April will be warm and humid..
Accommodation: Participating boys will be provided accommodation in the NITC boys hostels. Girl students will be put up in Ladies Hostel/ International Hostel. Quilts, pillows and sheets will be provided by the organizing committee. Managers and coaches will be accommodated in the Institute Guest House. Security deposit: Each participating NIT will deposit an amount of Rs. 1000/= in cash towards security money refundable on completion of their commitments in the tournament. Security money will not be refunded in cases of misconduct and breakages/ damages of materials supplied to them Code of conduct: Visiting teams are expected to conduct themselves in desired manner while on the NIT Calicut campus and any breach of discipline will be dealt with seriously. Hence Physical Education Faculty / coaches are expected to monitor the conduct of their wards meticulously. Participants must carry their institute ID where ever they move in the campus. Food: Multi cuisine food will be provided free to the participants and officials at the NIT Calicut canteen premises. An exclusive tournament mess will commence on the previous afternoon and close on posttournament afternoon. Participants will be served food against coupons and will adhere to different food timings displayed. Registration: Each visiting NIT will be required to remit Rs. 300/= per student towards registration, entry fee, boarding and accommodation charges. Payment may be in Cash at the Registration counter or by Demand Draft favouring the Director, NIT Calicut payable at S B I, NIT Calicut Branch. LAST DATE OF CONFIRMED ENTRIES: 23 rd March 2011.

Dress Code: Participating NITs must wear identifying playing dress and attire as per rules of the respective Federations. Boys and girls in casuals will not be allowed to participate. Opening & Closing Ceremony: Appropriate Inaugural ceremony will be held on the opening day (01 03 11 exact time to be announced) participation in which will be mandatory. Institute flags desirable. Similarly, closing of the tournament will also feature a suitable ceremony. Officials & Umpires: The Organising Committee reserves the right to appoint officials of the tournament. As far as possible, qualified approved officials will be engaged. We are committed to unbiased conduct of events.
