This was a very extensive survey, and in a comparable look to other private clubs across the country, we received very high reviews. For both members and staff, the survey reflects just how special of a place MVCC is. There are three areas that the staff are working on to improve from the survey. Pace of Play the golf shop staff is currently developing a better system to inform groups on the golf course of the pace of play. More marshals will be present throughout the week to ensure that your pace of play experience in 2017 will be consistent with the Pace of Play policy, which reflects that we play in 4 hours and no more than 4:15. Members not complying with the pace of play policy will result in the procedures for members breaking any of the rules at the Club. Bunker Condition Craig Benson and his team have already begun to replace sand in the bunkers from hole 1 onward. It was specifically written into the Greens budget this year so that all bunkers will have fresh sand and playability will be better and more consistent across the entire golf course. This is a big investment, and of course we would love for you to help us maintain this condition by leaving the bunkers in better condition than you found them. Food Consistency and Quality We have a great culinary and Food & Beverage team. With the development of the new menu, there will be processes and procedures put in place to improve your dining experience through consistency and quality. Look for the new menu to roll out this spring with more details to come. It will be an exciting menu with a fresh new look, just in time for the golf season! Thank you to those who took this survey, your feedback is critical to our success and we can t get better without it! Finally, please look to refer a friend, colleague or family member to your Club. The Progressive membership we have going on now through April is a great way to for them to try the Club and see if it fits their lifestyle. If there is ever anything I can do to help you, please don t hesitate to ask! Sincerely, Greg Manley, PGA MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS In an effort to provide more clarity to you about membership numbers, we have created a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) equation to better represent where our membership stands. The below FTE number is found by dividing our current dues revenue by $515. Please note that this FTE should not be compared to 2016 because of the revised dues structure. However the FTE should be used to track our progress moving forward in 2017. While we have more active members in actuality than the number below, we feel this provides a clearer at-a-glance representation.
