Dust in high concentrations may form explosive dust/air mixtures. When pneumatically blown, equipment must be properly grounded. MAY CAUSE EYE, SKIN AND RESPIRATORY TRACT IRRITATION. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing airborne particulates. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Slippery when wet. In case of skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician. In case of eye contact: Flush eyes with water as a precaution. If swallowed: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician. Autoignition Temperature: 450 F (232 C). Carbon oxides. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary. Cellulose dust explosibility: (*Kst dry = >200 and >300 bar m/s). Caution should be taken in the processing, shipping, handling and use of these materials, particularly if they are in a dry state and dust is produced. Reference NFPA standards 654, 69 and the NFPA Fire Protection Handbook for guidance. Kst the maximum rate of pressure rise is used to calculate the Kst value; an internationally recognized index used to classify dust explosibility. Precautions for safe handling: Further processing of solid materials may result in the formation of combustible dusts. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU). Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove s outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product.
