GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS 1. The Competition is open to all wood participants. Participants are not limited to the number of categories they wish to enter. 2. We have expanded the competition in 2016 to include woodworking and woodturning categories. (NEW FOR 2016) 3. The same entry may not be entered more than once. 4. CLASSES can be different between Woodcarving, Woodworking and Woodturning. (NEW FOR 2016) 5. The Rules Committee of The Ontario Woodworking Championship reserves the right to accept or reject any entry or entries in all categories and to display only those exhibits that are acceptable quality or that exhibit space may permit. 6. While the Woodstock Woodworking Show and The Ontario Woodworking Championship agree to take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of the entries in the show, it must be understood that participants are required to directly assume all risks of loss or damage. 7. Should any article be accidentally damaged, lost or stolen, The Woodstock Woodworking Show / OWC will render all assistance in their power for the recovery of the same, but will not recognize any claim for payment of the value or any portion thereof. 8. If the question is raised as to the participants production, ownership, or right to compete, the participant shall, if the Rules Committee requires, make a statutory declaration that the article in question is the production and property of the participant. 9. Participants must make their own choice as to the class and category in which they enter. However the Rules Committee reserve the right to transfer any entry from one category to another, to combine any category or categories where the number of entries is not sufficient to provide competition. (See Page 6) 10. The right to alter, interpret, amend, add to or cancel any of these rules or to grant relaxation from them in individual cases is reserved to the Rules Committee in their absolute discretion. Should any questions arise not provided for in these rules and regulations, the decision of the Rules Committee of the Ontario Woodworking Championship shall be final. 11.
