Swept the Braves in a three-game series in Pittsburgh before being swept three games last week by the Reds...Had a 7-6 record after 13 games last season (7-7 after 14). BUCS WHEN... WANNA BE STARTING SOMETHING: In their last five games, Pittsburgh starting pitchers have posted a 2.51 ERA (32.1ip/9er) while working into the seventh inning three times...overall this season, the Pirates starters rank fifth in the National League with a 3.48 ERA (75.0ip/29er). GOLDEN IN THE OUTFIELD: Starling Marte last night recorded his third assist - tops among all Major League outfielders this season...the two-time Gold Glove Award winner (2015 & 2016) leads all outfielders with 36 assists over the last three seasons and his 40 since the start of 2014 are tied with Yoenis Cespedes for the most among all Major League outfielders.
