Important Information The Tournament Operations Interns are split into six different teams each consisting of 3-5 interns Each intern is supervised by a full time employee with ratio of no more than 5 interns to 1 Tournament Director The teams are located in different houses and states in order to make traveling to tournaments more convenient Internship Dates Spring = January-May Summer= May-August Fall = August-December Application Deadline Dates Spring = Nov. 1, 2017 Summer= March 1, 2018 Fall= July 1, 2018 Budget $100-$150 per week Some spend more or less Co Ed environment Willing to share a hotel room with other interns

Qualifications Marketing Internship Some Internet, Sales, and Marketing experience (preferred) Interest for the sport of golf (preferred) Self-motivated Great organizational skills Working towards bachelor degree or masters Ability to handle an aggressive environment and work schedule Willingness to work 40-42 hours per week Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Strong written and verbal skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Important Information This internship is unpaid although the HJGT provides all interns with 100% free housing in Orlando, FL. Internship Dates Spring = January 2-May 11 Summer= May 14-August 17 Fall = August 20- December 21 Spring 2018 application deadline is November 1, 2017, Summer deadline is March 1, 2018 and Fall deadline is July 1, 2018 The Marketing and Administrative team is one team consisting of 7 to 10 interns. Interns are given different areas of responsibilities based on their skills and desires. Areas include social media, sales, marketing, human resources, sponsorship, and marketing.

Career Enrichment There are countless benefits to participating in the HJGT internship. Interns will meet and interact with many people and get to know the future stars of the PGA and LPGA tours. Interns will be around influential and successful sponsors, parents, and spectators. Interns will also work closely with golf professionals, directors of golf and course superintendents. In addition to the contacts made, the internship also serves as an opportunity to obtain full time employment with the HJGT when positions become available or through its network. This internship is unlike many other programs because of the hands on experience you will receive. Interns will be given daily tasks that have a big impact on the organization. You will learn how to manage people, manage departments, and problem solve in a fast and fun environment.
